7.7/10.The last good Scary Movie.I found the presence of too many famous cameos distracting particularly Jenny McCarthy, Pamela Anderson, Queen Latifah, Eddie Griffin, and all those rappers.Anna Faris still carries the movie with no hint she might be tiring of it.Regina Hall also shows the same enthusiasm as before with Simon Rex being a surprising break out actor here.I found his character of George Logan funny as hell despite the presence of Charlie Sheen, another unnecessary person here.If anything this should've been the last one in the franchise were it not for studio greed.Still I regard as a pretty decent sequel just not on the level of its two predecessors.Leslie Nielsen's a wonderful addition as President Harris. If would've been hilarious if President Harris had gotten his own movie, imagine the hilarity there.Still this is a pretty good send off, which is how I regard Scary Movie 3, the end of the franchise.
I love this movie especially in the scene where Brenda and Tabitha Fight.
George: Sue's teacher, Brenda. She's... She's dead.
Tom: Oh. I better tell her.
George: No, no, no. I can do it. Sue?
Sue: Yes?
George: You know your teacher, Miss Brenda?
Sue: Yeah.
George: She's dead!
Sue: Aah!
George: Gone forever! Died a horrible, painful death! Gone, gone, gone, just like your dog!
Sue: My dog's dead?
George: I just ran him over with the car when I drove in! Everyone you love around you is dying!
Trivia: When Cindy and the rapper guy are fighting the Ring girl, the president walks in and says, "I just want to wish you both good luck. We're all counting on you." and then he walks out. This is a joke from "Airplane" where Leslie Nielsen is the doctor. He says the same line. The reason it is in the movie Scary Movie 3 is because the director of Airplane also directed this.
Question: There is something I have always wondered about spoofs: Do they actually get permission from the makers of the films they spoof?
