Continuity: When Belle and Beast raise their bowls, the oatmeal on the table has vanished.

Audio problem: At the beginning, when the explosion occurs in Belle's house and Belle goes into the cellar to investigate, she says "Papa?" but her lips don't move at all.

Continuity: For most of the scene where Maurice is sitting by the fire, the chair he is on is over the checkered part of the carpet. However, when the Beast enters the room and growls "Who are you? What are you doing here?" two of the legs are over the red part of the carpet.

Continuity: When Maurice looks into the castle after arriving, there are no yellow edges around the red carpet. Yet moments later, they appear.

Continuity: The length of the chip on the axe in Maurice's invention changes in the scene where he is building it, and also later when Chip is trying to get it to work.

Continuity: At the very end, when all the objects change back into humans, the position of the roses on the walls in the background changes between shots.

Continuity: In the Gaston song sequence, the villagers pick up the chair Gaston is in, and carry it in front of the bear rug. Then suddenly, Lefou is standing on the bear rug, and the chair crashes down on him.

Continuity: Near the end, the objects are watching Beast die, and the rose is shaped as a reversed question mark. A few seconds later, the last petal falls, and the rose is now shaped as a question mark.

Continuity: When Maurice is taking his invention to the fair, there is a covering over the machine with a brown patch on it. But in the shot where Maurice says "It's a shortcut, Phillipe", the patch is now white. Also, when Phillipe comes back to the house later, and Belle takes the machine off him, the patch has disappeared.

Continuity: When Gaston proposes marriage to Belle, there is a thick pink cushion on his chair. But when Gaston sits on it and puts his feet on the table, the cushion is much thinner, and it is now red.

Continuity: After Belle sees the painting in the West Wing, there is a shot of the table where the enchanted rose is. In this shot, the magic mirror is not on the table. In the next shot, it is. Then when the Beast yells "Get out." it is gone again.

Audio problem: In the first shot of Gaston losing his balance, he cries "Woah, ah" or something, but his lips don't move.

Continuity: After the brawl between the villagers and the objects, a lot of mess is on the floor. Then when the objects jump for joy, the mess is gone.

Continuity: After Lefou is stabbed in the butt by Cogsworth, there is no hole in his pants. This is impossible, since the knife did pierce him.

Factual error: In "Be Our Guest", the objects form an Eiffel Tower to show a symbol of France. The Eiffel Tower was built in 1889, and this movie seems to be set in the 18th century.

Continuity: Just before the new "Human Again" song, Cogsworth is telling the other servants what to do. He is standing on the dog/footstool and tells everyone to clean up the castle. All the servants run off including the dog/footstool and Cogsworth falls down the stairs. A load of cogs fall out of him and Lumiere picks one up. It is quite small but as he dusts it off it grows and when he hands it to Cogsworth and it has grown in size again to over double the size it was when it first fell out of him.

Continuity: When Mrs. Potts and Chip first come into Belle's room at the castle, Chip spills tea onto the carpet. In the next shot, the tea is gone.

Continuity: Gaston's socks are red when he is in the mud. When he walks away, we briefly see them as being orange.

Continuity: There are a row of nails in the bottom of the front of Belles wooden porch door which disappear later in the movie.

Continuity: When Gaston comes in to propose to Belle, he sits in the chair and kicks of his boots etc., and between shots there's a bellows hanging by the fireplace which keeps disappearing and reappearing.
