Robin and Azeem land at the white cliffs of Dover and Robin says something like, 'Tonight we will dine with my father'. Nottingham is 218 miles from Dover. It would probably take about two weeks to walk it.
David Sloane (Sasha Mitchell) is the brother of Kurt and Eric Sloane (shown in Kickboxer, with Jean-Claude Van Damme). In the opening scene you can see pictures of the brothers, but the Kurt and Eric Sloane featured on the photos are NOT the Kurt and Eric Sloane from the Kickboxer movie. You also see pictures of Xian and Mylee, from 'Kickboxer'. Then later in the movie, when David and Xian 'meet', David asks Xian, "Who are you?" Well, he would obviously know, given that he's got Xian's photo hanging on his wall at home.
During the scene where Morrison is sitting on the ledge of a building and drinking, you can see a billboard advertisement for a film below him on the street. Even though this scene is set around 1969, the ad is for the Eddie Murphy-Nick Nolte film Another 48 Hours.
During the wedding reception, George (Steve Martin) is called outside to meet with the police because there are too many cars parked in the street. Notice that the police car is curbside completely surrounded by cars. In fact, the whole street is packed with cars, making one wonder how the police car got up to the house.
At the western bar Louise is drinking a margarita. As the shot goes back and forth between Thelma & Louise, the contents of the drink magically decrease and increase again. The level of Thelma's coke rises as well, when Harlan leaves them.
There is a patch on the jacket Harley (Rourke) wears, that appears and disappears throughout the movie. It's on the front lower right side. It is there when he's standing outside their friends' bar with Marlboro, it's gone when they are inside.
The Man goes completely trigger happy shooting all the walls all around his house, trying to kill Fool, Leroy, and Roach at different points. The police come in and don't notice anything wrong. What about the bullet holes all over the place?
When Captain Kirk and the shape shifter are fighting on the planet (the shape shifter looks exactly like Kirk). They are rolling through the snow about to roll over Bones. In one shot, it looks like they will roll over his feet first, and then the rest of his body. In the next shot, it is a little closer and they roll over Bones' right arm first and not his feet first.
At the end of the film when Julia discovers the cans are all in order, she runs for the front door and see the stereo set up there. Then the husband comes from behind. In the following scenes where she goes to the door to talk to Ben, the stereo is gone.
After Kevin Kline slices his thumb (finger?) in the kitchen, his wife bandages it. Then, as the earthquake hits, they run outside and you can see that the bandage doubles in size.
At the beginning of the movie when Flash and the Ebony Sparks are performing, you can see behind Flash, the back-up singer on his right (our left) throw his red sports coat and bow tie on the ground and rips open his shirt. Then when they show a close up of the back-up singers he has it buttoned but is in the process of taking it off. Then when they focus back on Flash, the man's shirt is clearly open, then they go back and he's still trying to open it up and he finally rips it off and goes in the motion of throwing it, but then (less than second) it pans out to show the whole group jump up and do the splits at the end of the song and the man has the shirt on again.
At the beginning when Chuckie is turning on all the toys in the office, he flies a helicopter and the string is so visible its funny. The helicopter then crashes and you can still see it. In the next shot the man looks at it and there is no string.
When Fausto (played by Taylor Negron) hands a tape from the back seat of the car to put on, he pulls it out and it is white. In the next shot when Demi Moore takes it, it is black.
When the camera passes Elizabeth in the phonebox saying "Yes, that what he said...", the reflection of a crewmembers face is perfectly reflected. Then (in the same shot), as the camera pulls back and goes past the phonebox again, his face is once again reflected.
The king's youngest daughter climbs down a wall and drops a tightly sealed Erlenmeyer flask (invented centuries later) filled with a toxic potion. The flask is full when it is dropped, but partly empty after it has been caught and handed back to her by her spouse's earlier visitor.
When Madonna greets her audience for the kick-off night of the Blond Ambition World Tour in Tokyo, we're actually seeing the second show, not the first.
Throughout the movie, Nick Nolte and Barbara Streisand take cab rides. There are thousands of cabbies in NYC, so how come they always get in a cab with the same license plate?
Many of the vehicles in the movie have Pennsylvania inspection stickers on the lower driver's side windshield. This is not surprising being that most of the movie was filmed in Pennsylvania. However, they should have been removed when the car is suppose to be from another state. For example, the Senator's daughter, just before her abduction in Tennessee, is seen driving a car with Pennsylvania inspection stickers. Also, the driver for Yourself Storage in Baltimore also has Pennsylvania stickers on his car.
Warren Beatty refers to the "Hoover Dam" being able to generate the power needed for Las Vegas and his Flamingo casino. The problem is that he supposedly made the comment in 1937. At that time, the "Hoover Dam" was still called "Boulder Dam." It wasn't renamed to honour President Herbert Hoover until about ten years later.
When Doyle is eating at the homeless shelter, he polishes his silverware and lays down a spoon, knife, and another spoon in that order. In the following shots the order changes to spoon, spoon, knife.
When Evelyn is about to drive into the red VW convertible her hands are on the wheel symmetrically when seen from behind, or one hand is on top when seen from the front in alternating shots.
