Continuity: After the wolves run away the Beast is shown standing in the snow before collapsing and there are five cuts on his arm. However, when Belle treats the wounds in the next scene, there are only three cuts on his arm.

Continuity: When the Beast is shown falling into despair after scaring Belle away from the West Wing, the pieces of rock on the ground have all either changed position or appeared out of nowhere from the shot when Belle first saw the enchanted rose.

Continuity: When Belle is coming to the West Wing there is a big statue of a monster with its mouth open very near the door. When Belle is shown running out of the West Wing later, this statue has disappeared.

Continuity: When Maurice first comes to the castle, there is no smoke from any of the chimneys, even though we later see that there is a fire inside.

Continuity: When the Beast bursts into the West Wing after Belle refuses to go to dinner with him, he grabs the magic mirror, sees Belle, and puts it back down again. Then another petal falls from the rose, but notice that the petals on the table are in a different position than they were in the previous shot.

Continuity: When Belle approaches the door to let in Gaston, there is a plate near the door that is significantly circular. When Gaston comes in a few seconds later, the plate is more oval-shaped.

Continuity: When Belle returns the book to the librarian, he puts it on a shelf, and it is leaning against other books. A little later, it straightens itself without the man touching it.

Continuity: In the 'Human Again' song, near the end of the song Cogsworth and Lumiere turn on the fountain and the large middle statue sprays out water, but the two statues either side of the middle one are turned off. Then the wardrobe jumps out onto the balcony singing and then it cuts to an ariel shot, and now the two side statues are suddenly spraying water too.

Continuity: When Maurice is getting ready to go back to find Belle, and is pocketing compasses and rolls of paper, he takes a scarf from a drawer, leaving the drawer pulled open, with a red scarf hanging out of it. Then when Gaston and Le Fou enter the house, the drawer is pushed shut with no red scarf hanging out.

Continuity: When Cogsworth enters the lounge to inform everyone Belle isn't coming to dinner, watch the design on the door. When the Beast then flies through the doors and then bounds up the staircase, in the overhead shot the design on the door is totally different.

Continuity: When Gaston flies into the muddy pond, Le Fou walks to the edge of the bank and right by the bank is a large bush of long green reeds. However when it cuts to a closeup of Le Fou saying "So, how'd it go?", the reeds have vanished. Reeds also apppear in the background, around the pond.

Continuity: After the Beast is stabbed, and is on the floor dying, Belle is at his side comforting him. In one shot her hand is stroking the left side of his face. It cuts and suddenly her hand is on the right side of his face. Then a few shots later, she puts her left hand on the right side of his face, but when the shot changes her hand is back to her side.

Continuity: When the Beast briefly dies at the end of the film, before being turned human, Belle cries and lays down on his chest, with her head resting on his red cape and her hand clutching it. However when it cuts to a closeup, Belle's head is suddenly resting further down, on his white shirt, and she is clutching the shirt now too instead of the cape.

Continuity: When Le Fou and two other men chase the dog-like footrest, Le Fou has a pitchfork and the men have an axe and a sword. However when they bust through the kitchen doors, the sword has turned to a club.

Continuity: When the Beast discovers Belle in the West Wing, he starts yelling at her, and she backs into an old, rotting cupboard that sports many patterns and designs on it. Then when the shot changes the cupboard is suddenly new-looking and in good shape and has no patterns on it at all.

Continuity: When Maurice is thrown out of the tavern, he falls into a thick pile of snow, near the fountain. However when he cries out "Will no-one help me?", the stone ground outside the tavern is suddenly all snow-free.

Deliberate "mistake": When Gaston is in Belle's house and he puts his muddy boots on Belle's book, when she picks it up and it cuts, a white cloth magically appears in her hand to wipe off the mud.

Continuity: When Belle goes to the West Wing, from an inside shot, after she opens the door, there is a handle on both of the doors. It then cuts to a different angle and pans backwards, and now there is only a handle on the left door.

Continuity: When Le Fou is chasing the dog-like footrest he is missing one shoe, which the dog has, but when Le Fou and the gang burst through the kitchen door, he has the shoe back. Then when the knives scare them away, it's missing again.

Continuity: As Le Fou jumps on peoples heads during the Gaston song, there are three beermugs on the table. However, when he jumps on the table, and is then grabbed by the men, and is being swung back and forth by them, the beers have disappeared from the table.
