Corrected entry: At the end the last two survivors are rescued by a helicopter launched from a US Navy vessel. The helicopter is a UHC-1 'Huey', which is totally unsuitable for naval operations. In fact, the Navy doesn't even own any, nor does the Coast Guard. Amongst other things, they are not sealed water tight, do not float, and their rotor blades are too long for carrier-based operations.
Corrected entry: After Evelyn is electrocuted, Price asks who the man in the lab coat is whom he has been chasing. Pritchett mouths the name "Vanacutt", but says the name "Zanacutt". Timecode: Ch 18, 00:00:37-00:00:46. (00:00:35)
Correction: He doesn't mouth the word "Vanacutt," but he does actually say "Zanacutt." Maybe he said that because he was a little drunk. When people are drunk, they say things the wrong way as you might've guessed yourself.
Corrected entry: When Joseph tells Pharoah that he understands the bit about the corn, but says he doesn't understand the bit about the cows, he asks Pharoah to repeat it again. Then, Pharoah should have repeated the part about the cows because that's the part Joseph doesn't understand, but instead Pharoah repeats the part about the corn which Joseph said he understood.
Correction: When Joseph said "Give it to me one more time" he actually meant "Can you sing a bit more while I think about the cows?"
Corrected entry: When we see the crew setting up to follow Ed around, they put a camera into the rear-view mirror of his car. When he runs away in the middle of the night to visit Sherri why don't they just go to the feed from this camera instead of chasing after him?
Correction: The broadcast van has to be close to the camera so they can broadcast the feed. The antenna from the camera probably isn't very powerful.
Corrected entry: In almost every scene, Jane's hair is a different length. Sometimes it is long and sometimes it is above her shoulders.
Correction: This movie was flashbacks over 5 years, her hair also went from up, to flipped, to straightened. Her hair should have been different lengths.
Corrected entry: The real killers were never caught.
Correction: Unfortunately this film is another example of Hollywood vs. History. Rubin Carter & John Artis were NEVER exonerated for the crime and indeed before deciding on the "facts" of the case one should view both sides of the complete story before reaching judgement. For this reason I have added a link (In the link section) to facilitate this purpose: "The other side of the story".
Corrected entry: Following Rosie's crash into the flight deck (after her collision with a Kilrathi fighter), a remote operated bulldozer is sent out to push her fighter off the flight deck, when it does, her fighter falls straight down off the deck, as it would on a planet with gravity, but it is space so it should have just floated away.
Correction: It is more than likely that the technology used to create artificial gravity on the ship encompasses an area that goes beyond the hull (as evident when the Rapiers launch and also when firing missiles). Everything starts going straight "down" once off the stability of the deck or tube. Rapiers also need to launch quickly in order to get outside that gravity field.
Corrected entry: When Chase walks up to Nicole and Ray at school weaing his leather jacket it is zipped up. But when the shot goes back to him 2 seconds later it is unzipped.
Correction: You can hear him unzipping his jacket.
Corrected entry: When Richard pierces himself with his Hotel Manager badge, lots of blood comes out. We then see Eddy on his bike and then go back to Richard with no blood.
Correction: After he pierces himself, the scene changes back to Eddie on his bike - obviously during the time period, Richie has changed his shirt, as there is enough given time for him to do so.
Corrected entry: In the letter in the bottle the girl's name, Katherine, is spelled with a K. The boat that is named after her is Catherine, spelled with a C.
Correction: The two letters Theresa reads spell the name "Catherine" with a C.
Corrected entry: How come when the robbers are making their getaway, Goldie Hawn & Steve Martin jump out without the robbers stopping to pick them up again? Surely they wouldn't risk the hostages telling the police and identifying them.
Correction: Steve Martin grabs the gun out of the robber's hand and the taxi is then pulled over to the side of the road to let them get out. (The gun is dropped on the floor of the taxi as they get out, but the robbers don't know that.)
Corrected entry: Near the end of the film, when she exits the church, Kathryn gets busted by some professors. But since only the people outside the church had Sebastian's diary, and the professors came out after Kathryn, they couldn't have seen the diary and therefore would not of known her secret.
Correction: Annette told them, or Cecile did - it's foreshadowed when Kathryn and Annette are talking in the bathroom, just before this last scene. Annette repeats Kathryn's exact phrase about "turning to Jesus" which K. used as a metaphor for taking the cocaine in her cross necklace.
Corrected entry: During the first shot at the Museum of Natural History, when it shows the Neolithic mans penis, you can see that the hairy man is circumcised. During this time, thousands of years ago, they did not have the technology nor the ability to circumcise. (01:45:00)
Correction: Perhaps he wasn't - he may not have had a foreskin to begin with. Penises of other animals (especially hairy ones) don't have them, and you can assume that they only started to appear in humans when they became less hairy.
Corrected entry: In the scene where Alvin Straight is going to shoot his old lawnmower, you can see he walks outside carrying a double-barrel shotgun. You then hear him take three shots in fairly rapid succession. He could have only fired twice before needing to reload.
Correction: What you hear is two shots and an echo, hence the rapid succession.
Corrected entry: In the first scene where Ray and Claude are being buried, the speaker says "we lay to rest Claude Gibson and C. Banks" instead of Ray Gibson. They never said Ray's name.
Correction: They're actually saying "R" Gibson - I thought the same thing until I listened again.
Corrected entry: At the banquet for the English guests plays a top-class European chamber orchestra. How did Anna arrange for this within three weeks, about the time a letter from Bangkok to London would take in those days? (01:03:00)
Correction: Most likely, they did not come all the way from Europe. She could have arranged to have them shipped in from the English colonies in India, Ceylon or Hong Kong; or, if she was allowed to negotiate with the French, she could have gotten them from the neighbouring countries in French Indochina. As the characters themselves indicate in the scene with the egg in the bottle, anything is possible if you go at it the right way (and it doesn't hurt to have the money and influence of the King of Siam behind you, either).
Corrected entry: It is established that the Universal Soldiers are more or less remote controlled, depending on the computer Seth to remain operational ("No matter what happens, if Seth doesn't get the code he'll shut down in eight hours, and the UniSols will just go offline."). Nevertheless, after Luc destroyed Seth (in 1:12:10) nobody seems to care for that concept anymore, neither the UniSol Romeo battling Luc for quite some time (1:12:47 - 1:14:13), nor the one chatting with him (directly afterwards), nor the >9 UniSols marching out of the building just before it explodes (1:15:28) - they all seem to be rather operational and 'online'. Correction: Presumably Luc was talking about the SETH computer in the base; the bases's computers remained operational even after the UniSol Seth was dead. It is likely that the computers in the base would have kept controlling the UniSols even after Seth's personality was downloaded into squid's body.
Corrected entry: Why does Inspector G tell no one that Scolex is the one who blew up his car (and, therefore, probably killed Brenda's father?) He clearly saw him throw the exploding cigar and seems to remember everything else perfectly fine.
Corrected entry: The General's daughter is leaving the formal occasion in her dress uniform. It is highly unlikely that someone would be driving a dirty tactical vehicle in the most expensive clothes that they would ever own. In addition, she pulls a tire iron from the hummer to assist Travolta. Hummers do not have spare tires. They are equipped with run flat tires, so would have no need to carry a tire iron. And those lug nuts won't budge without an impact wrench.
Correction: While it's unlikely she would be riding in an tactical vehicle in a dress uniform, most HMMWVs do have spare tires equipped on them; and the tools to change it too in the BII (Basic Item Issue). Even with runflats, it wouldn't be wise to not have one, especially nowadays with the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. The runflat is only good for a couple of miles before the tire eventually shreds enough to allow the rim to hit the ground like a regular tire and needs to be changed. An impact isn't needed to loosen the lugs, and in many cases isn't available due to HMMWVs not having the capability to run an impact wrench anyway.
Corrected entry: When the Tate girls overhear their parents' argument about sending Carla to a special school they are coming down the staircase. The camera cuts to the parents, and when it cuts back to the girls they are coming down the same steps again. (00:04:25)
Correction: Neither the number of steps nor the girls' feet are shown, so it's possible they kept creeping down to the bottom, rather than a continuity shot on the same steps.
