Toy Story 2 picture

Corrected entry: In this movie, Woody's horse's name is Bullseye. But in the first movie, when Woody gets his pull-string caught on the stair-railing in Sid's house, you can hear him call his horse "Thunder."

Correction: He says "partner" not thunder.

Thumb Wars: The Phantom Cuticle picture

Corrected entry: During the final saber duel in the Thumbstar's corridor, there is a very quick shot where the characters apparently swap thumbsabers. Look closely, in one brief moment, Loke has a pink blade and Black Helmet Man has a blue blade.

Correction: It's a parody of low-budget films, where that sort of thing would happen constantly.

Sleepy Hollow picture

Corrected entry: When Johnny Depp is axing the Headless Horseman's tree, he is covered in blood. The camera pans to the boy and Christina Ricci, and then back to Johnny Depp, and he is magically clean again.

Correction: There's never a shot of Crane "magically" clean. When the camera first changes to the children and back, you can see the same about of the tree's blood. There is a shot where he's not covered in as much blood when the camera goes to the children and back, when he has removed some limbs, but he's off camera and could easily wiped some blood off his face, so he could see better.

The Rage: Carrie 2 picture

Corrected entry: At the beginning when you watch the movie and the girl jumps from the roof of the school you will notice she jumps from the right side of the corner of the building. Then when Rachel plays the memory back in her head you will notice that her friend jumps off of the left side of the building and the corner of the building is to her right this time.

Correction: Rachel didn't witness her jumping, she only saw her afterwards so she couldn't have known where she jumped from.

Fight Club picture

Corrected entry: When Ed Norton is beating the crap out of beautiful Angelface, he makes him bleed a lot, and his whole face is covered in blood. But when Ed Norton walks away, he nudges another guy out of the way, and you can see his hand in the bit of light. If you look closely at his hand, there is no blood anywhere.

Correction: What is shown is the left side of his left hand. If you pay attention to the fight, he uses his right hand mostly. It's plausible that there could be no blood on the part of the hand that was shown.

Varsity Blues picture

Corrected entry: Right after Lance gets hurt the 2 announcers in the booth seem to have ESP or either that they have some medical degree that nobody knows about because despite the fact that the injury just happened and nobody knows how serious the injury is they already know that the injury is severe enough that Lance's "ride" to Florida state is over.

Correction: They could have also known that any type of injury would make Florida State decide against giving a full ride scholarship to a player, despite knowing the severity of it. Injury prone players are usually a major a concern for top teams.

The Matrix picture

Corrected entry: In the scene at the end of the movie where Neo is running towards Agent Smith. He appears to be stopping just before diving into Agent Smith.

The Green Mile picture

Corrected entry: When Percy is released from the straightjacket the cloth that is pulled out of his mouth is smooth and dry, not wet and wrinkled as it should be after an hour or so in his mouth. (02:18:00)

NancyFelix

Correction: Everything that they had to accomplish in that storyline, would have taken far longer than an hour. With a rag stuffed in his mouth for that long, and covered by tape to boot, Percy's mouth would have been bone dry, by the time Boss Edgecomb removed it. The hanky looked like silk, which was common for that era, and silk doesn't wrinkle. You can actually hear in Doug Hutchinson's voice, that the few minutes he actually had the rag in his mouth had already made his mouth dry.

American Pie picture

Corrected entry: When Nadia is in the bedroom, and Jim is using the camera to webcast her, the angle we see on his friend's computer is totally different to that on another computer we are shown. (00:42:48)

Correction: The angles are the same on all the computers.

Wild Wild West picture

Corrected entry: During the scene when Loveless is talking about taking over the U.S. and he mentions some states and Arizona is one of them. Arizona was not a state when Grant was president. (He may have mentioned others that weren't states yet, but this is the only one I remember completely.)

Correction: True, Arizona was not a state. However, Arizona was organized as a separate territory from New Mexico on February 24, 1863.

Bicentennial Man picture

Corrected entry: In the world of Issac Asimov robots, the three laws are immutable. At the beginning Andrew makes a lavish presentation of the three laws. At the end of the film, Galatea breaks the first law (not to harm) in order to conform to the second law (obey orders). The three laws are hierarchical in that the first law takes precedence over the second. In Asimov stories, the contradiction between the laws most often causes paralysis of the robot in question.

Correction: Galatea is not causing harm. Andrew and Portia are dying anyway, and all she does is let them. Any doctor would do the same, and they also make the same promise, to, if nothing else, do no harm. There's also the fact that Galatea is very much human at that point, so who knows if she is still held to those three laws?

Hello, this is a very good response, do you mind giving me a name to put this under so I can quote you in my research project. Thanks.

I'm afraid there's no way to attribute this comment to a specific person - it's about 10 years old and even if someone claimed it was theirs I couldn't confirm it.

The Haunting picture

Corrected entry: Dr. Marrow tells everyone that the gate is locked every night by the housekeeper and her husband, when they go home for the night, and that no one can get out. There is an accident and the next scenes show Dr. Marrow with keys opening the gate. Later, when trying to escape, the gate is rammed by the car. Where is the key? The chain on the gate appears to have changed size, the links were smaller in the beginning of the movie.

Correction: Dr Marrow gave the key to his male assistant before he leaves to go to the hospital. You see him giving it to him, while saying "Use the gate key if you have to get back in".

Three Kings picture

Corrected entry: Before the sliding milk truck comes to a halt the impression of movement is cleverly created by zooming into truck. If you look at the wheels in the sand in slow motion you see that the truck is not moving. (00:22:30)

NancyFelix

Correction: The rules of the site are clear...if it requires the use of slow motion to be seen, it is not a mistake.

Deep Blue Sea picture

Corrected entry: Near the end of the movie when the three are preparing to exit the sinking building and float to the surface the comment is made that putting the life jackets on will cause them to float to the surface too quickly and their lungs would pop. When you watch them swim to the top, they actually swim faster than the jackets/fire extinguishers go. (01:24:30 - 01:26:50)

Correction: The fire extinguishers and life jackets were rotating and because the fire extinguishers were going off, they would not go straight up. The force from the fire extinguishers would push the jackets down or at least slow them down when it was pointed upward, and since it was rotating it would most likely go up as slow as it did.

Girl, Interrupted picture

Corrected entry: In the scene at Daisy's house, when she hangs herself, and Angelina goes in her pockets to look for money. Well if you look at Daisy's eyes, they move very clearly as she is swaying to one side.

Correction: You can see that what is hanging is a dummy. Her "eyes" do not move. You can see how much different her face looks, due to it being a dummy.

Any Given Sunday picture

Corrected entry: No football league from PeeWee to Professional has allowed the mirrored shields in helmets for the past 4-5 years due to the fact that a trainer can't see his eyes in case of a head injury. These shields were shown numerous times throughout the film.

Correction: The league they play in is not a real football league. Their final game is not the super bowl, but the pantheon cup. Since it is not a real league, we can't compare its rules to the rules of the NFL or any other real leagues.

The Ninth Gate picture

Corrected entry: Throughout the film, the supposed rare book experts smoke over and around the books and always handle the books with their bare hands, instead of cotton gloves. Either one of these could destroy the extemely rare books.

Correction: This isn't a factual error, it's a constant and deliberate running joke throughout the film that the characters have such disrespect for the books.

Jawbreaker picture

Corrected entry: When the girls are standing in the doorway of Liz's bedroom, talking to Fern (she had stopped by to drop off Liz's homework assignments), Courtney thrusts out her arm, stopping Julie as she steps forward. Here, her strap falls down to her shoulder. The shot switches to Fren, then back to Julie, her strap is back on her shoulder, as if it had never moved.

Correction: I'm watching the movie now and her bra strap never fell.

October Sky picture

Corrected entry: Throughout the movie O'Dell walks and runs with a limp. When the boys are pulling up the railroad and hear the train coming, they all run to stop it. Somehow, on this particular run, O'Dell doesn't have his limp, but did have it before and does have it again.

Correction: If you watch the actor's "limp" throughout the movie, you can see that all he does is keep his right knee stiff. During the scene where they are running for the train, he is still keeping his knee stiff, but he pushes it out to the side so that he can run easier. He still has the limp, but it's less noticeable because of his modified run.

Big Daddy picture

Corrected entry: When Rob Schneider is watching Julian as Adam Sandler is away "being scuba Sam", Julian is jumping on the couch to the Kangaroo Song. In the very next shot, you can see Julian jumping on the bed. Then in the next shot, he is jumping on the couch and hitting Schneider on the head.

Correction: The point of this scene was to exaggerate how excited Julian gets while watching this video, not to actually chronicle the events of that time.
