Revealing mistake: When Vyvyan yells at his knickers, it cuts to a close-up shot of the knickers while they are on the ground. In the close-up shot, to the right-hand side of the frame, the corner of the knickers can be seen lifting off the ground slightly, revealing the use of a wire to pull them. (00:11:27)
Revealing mistake: When Vyvyan's head is guiding his body towards him, there is a shot of his head on the ground saying, "You took your time, you bastard." In the shot, the ground can be seen moving up and down slightly, revealing that the ground is fake, as well as revealing the use of a hole that the actor is sitting in. (00:23:03)

The empty suit in the mirror and the visible part in front of it were shot separately by copying the other part's movements as closely as possible, as the surviving raw footage can prove. It's hard to see, but there is a small difference between the motion of the hands.
