Continuity mistake: In the scene when his old school teacher comes in to pay for petrol, he hands Alan his credit card. The two of them chat and the teacher proceeds to leave, claiming that if the pupils need someone to talk to them about working in a petrol station, he'll be onto Alan. Alan dismisses that he works in a petrol station, and the teacher says "But I've just paid you for petrol and a packet of Minstrels." Actually he didn't, as Alan never swiped the card and the teacher left with free petrol and chocolate. (00:06:10)
Continuity mistake: During the scene in the car before Alan crashes, there is one shot of Lyn holding her bag on her lap with the handle on her chest, then in the other camera angle the strap is gone. This happens throughout the scene. (00:17:50)
Continuity mistake: After the air bag goes off, Alan asks why his didn't. As he says this he is holding onto the bottom of the steering wheel, but in the next shot his right arm is out straight on the edge of the window. (00:18:05)
