Revealing mistake: When the theatre actor is rehearsing his lines whilst standing outside an exit, he is shown holding a script. The pages of the script are completely blank. (00:08:49)
Revealing mistake: When the protestors are standing on the college campus, some of the character designs are reused. For example, there are two bald men, as well as two blonde women who are identical but have different outfits. (00:00:18)
Continuity mistake: When Turbo-Jet tells Peter he needs to sweep near him, Peter looks downwards to his left so that he is looking at him. In the next shot, he is looking directly downwards. The camera Peter is holding also changes direction between shots. (00:00:42)
Continuity mistake: When Peter is speaking with Turbo-Jet at the start, after Turbo-Jet says, "No, I don't go for kicking people out of their homes," the two are facing each other. When the shot cuts, Peter is suddenly walking around him, with the two being side by side. (00:00:58)
Continuity mistake: When Peter, Mary Jane, and Harry are talking on the campus, whilst Mary Jane says, "Oh, I just realised you're a management guy," she has her right hand raised to be level with her chest. The shot then cuts to focus on her, and her right hand appears to be lowered. (00:01:21)
Continuity mistake: When Turbo-Jet uses his powers to drag a truck into the road, there are two pedestrians standing behind him. A couple of seconds later, when Peter is swinging towards him, the two pedestrians have disappeared. (00:02:43)
Continuity mistake: When Turbo-Jet drops the truck in the middle of the road, there are numerous cars on the road in front of him, including two taxicabs, a black car, a blue car and a police car. In the next shot, the cars are completely different; specifically, a green car and an orange car have suddenly appeared. (00:02:45)
Continuity mistake: When Turbo-Jet attempts to throw the truck at Peter, it misses and almost hits some pedestrians on the sidewalk. When the people on the sidewalk are first shown, there are four of them. But in the next shot, there are only two of them. (00:02:51)
Revealing mistake: When the truck is thrown towards the pedestrians, it is shown flipping over and over, but the truck doesn't appear to be damaged in any way. (00:02:52)
Revealing mistake: Right before Peter catches the truck that Turbo-Jet threw, in the shot of him spraying the webs right before it hits the pedestrians, there is a minor animation error. Whilst it is flipping over, a shadow appears on the side of the truck. The shadow doesn't appear to form naturally; it just appears from one frame to the next. (00:02:53)
Continuity mistake: When Peter is crawling on the side of a building whilst chasing after Turbo-Jet, after the pedestrians berate him, he says, "Cut me a little slack" and has his hands and feet on the wall of the building. The pedestrians then throw items at him, and his hands and feet are suddenly pressed against a window. (00:03:20)
Continuity mistake: When Harry is calling Spider-Man a crook, whilst he says "On account of he did," he is standing with his body facing directly forwards towards Peter, and then rotates his head and abdomen to the right. When the shot cuts, his body is facing the opposite direction, now being turned completely away from Peter. (00:04:50)
Audio problem: When Mary Jane walks into the apartment, she closes the door behind her. The sound effect of the door closing is heard before the door actually closes. (00:05:02)
Continuity mistake: When Peter and Mary Jane are discussing Turbo-Jet after Harry leaves, whilst he says "Everyone expects Spider-Man to obey the law," he has both hands trying to position a TV on the wall. At first, his right elbow is at a rotated angle, but when the shot cuts, his right elbow is at a vertical angle. (00:05:36)
Continuity mistake: When Harry is talking with the two people at Oscorp, whilst he says "I knew that a month ago," he is holding a paper, which he places on the desk. His right hand is positioned next to the paper, but when the shot cuts, the paper is ahead of his right hand. (00:06:03)
Continuity mistake: When the Oscorp representatives are talking with Harry, there is a form on the desk that is only one piece of paper. A couple of seconds later, when one of the representatives, the form is now at least two pieces of paper. The papers also rotate 90 degrees between the two shots. (00:06:05)
Continuity mistake: When one of the Oscorp representatives tells Harry, "You certainly are your father's son," the other representative is holding papers in her hands. The shot then cuts to a close-up of Harry, but when the shot cuts back, the papers have disappeared from her hands. (00:06:20)
Other mistake: When Turbo-Jet steals the book, it is inside a glass case. Peter arrives, kicks him in the head and he drops the book. When the book lands on the ground, the glass case the book was inside shatters, causing pieces of glass to land on the ground, surrounding the book. A couple of seconds later, when Peter picks up the book, there doesn't appear to be any glass on the ground underneath the book, even though it wouldn't have been able to go anywhere else. (00:07:37)
Other mistake: When Turbo-Jet is fleeing Spider-Man, he hits the side of a red car, causing it to spin around and the alarm to go off. However, there appears to be no dents or damage done to the car. (00:08:07)
Continuity mistake: When Peter lands in Turbo-Jet's lair, he looks around. While he does this, there is a mixture of shadows and light on his back. In the next shot, his back is entirely covered in shadows. (00:08:13)
Answer: According to MTV, even though the ratings were high compared to other shows in the same time slot, the series did not fit in with its other programming.
