Trivia: Originally intended to be a stand-alone series that adapted the "Ultimate Spider-Man" comics. However, it was retooled slightly during pre-production to also serve as a sort-of tie-in to the popular 2002 "Spider-Man" movie by incorporating elements from it, down to even using a slightly modified version of the movie's title card font for the opening credits. However, the show was later rendered non-canonical due to the movie sequels contradicting it.
