Trivia: Spoilers: The film reveals that Jack suffers from a form of dissociative identity disorder (DID) and began hallucinating and acting out the "roles" of his siblings after they were murdered by their father. That makes this the second movie in as many years in which actress Anya Taylor-Joy plays a protagonist character who must contend with a man who has DID. The other film was "Split" in 2016. Albeit, Jack is a much more sympathetic figure than Kevin from "Split."
