The Bank Job (2008)

Factual error: In the scene where you see the underground train arriving in Tottenham Court Road station, the train has a red front. Only one unit of the stock in question had/has that combined with the original silver livery, and it never ran in service with it. Not to mention the fact that it wasn't applied until 2000, if not later. And the first trains used in service with red fronts rolled out of the shops in the 1980s, and this film is set in 1971.

Pearl Harbor (2001)

Factual error: When Rafe's train leaves New York you can see an Amtrak Genesis engine through the window. Amtrak wasn't created until 1971 and the Genesis diesel engines weren't designed until 1992. (00:29:45)

Short Circuit 2 (1988)

Factual error: The movie is supposed to be set in the USA, but throughout the movie you can see buses and trolleys from Toronto, Canada. Anyone who's been to Toronto or is interested in city transit could recognize it.

Flyboys (2006)

Factual error: In the beginning of the movie William supposedly boards the train in Lincoln, Nebraska. All the vehicles in the train are from Europe and never rolled in the United States. (00:03:35)
