Skeeter's book "The Help" is published and becomes a runaway hit. Hilly Holbrook, however, is furious because many of the stories in the book are about her. She threatens to sue Skeeter, but Skeeter's mother tells her off. Hilly, however gets her revenge by blackmailing the family Aibileen works for into firing her.

Mistakes

In the scene where Skeeter is on the phone with the lady who is interested in the book, she has an ashtray with a lit cigarette in it. In the next shot it is gone and the cigarette is in her hand, the next time it shows her the ashtray is back in its original position.
