Continuity mistake: When the pirates swears the oath to kill Dragon Mao, they drip blood on one of the pirate's hand. The blood stains on his hand differ between the shots. (00:02:50)

Continuity mistake: When Dragon is chasing the two thieves who stole the money boxes from Yesan and Carina, Dragon slides down a sign. In the wide shot you can see two men clinging to the wall right next to Dragon. In the next shot the men are gone. (00:13:40)

Continuity mistake: When Tiger kicks the trunk, making it slide across the floor toward Dragon, the trunk hits the door and comes to a complete stop while the door opens. In the next shot the trunk has suddenly moved about 6 inches in the door opening. (00:29:40)

Trivia: Jackie Chan hadn't originally planned on making a sequel to "Project A." However, the Japanese Emperor personally told him he was a fan of the first film and wanted to see a sequel, leading Chan to decide to make this film.
