Factual error: When Ben shows Doug the image of a cow cell, he says: "That is a healthy bovine cell, strong walls, good color." This is a scientific nonsense: mammalian cells do not have a cell wall, only plants do. And apart from skin cells, they do not have any color, unless you stain them to visualise the cellular compartments like the nucleus. (00:54:30)

Continuity mistake: When the car door is ripped off by the cow, it shows the truck with the door intact.

Factual error: At the beginning of the film, in ConcepciĆ³n, Chile; the accent spoken is from Central American people, not Chilean.

Continuity mistake: When Katherine cracks the egg into the pan, and it comes out as blood, between shots the shape of the bloody egg in the pan completely changes.

Factual error: In Katherine's slideshow, the Methanol and Ethonal diagrams are incorrectly labelled with the vice versa names.

Maddie McConnell: Are you here for my girl? Are you gonna kill my baby girl?
Katherine Winter: What? No.
Maddie McConnell: Why not?
Katherine Winter: I'm just trying to help her.
Maddie McConnell: She doesn't need help. Can't you see that?
