Factual error: Hannay travels to Scotland on The Flying Scotsman which ran from London to Edinburgh, The Forth Road Bridge is actually 12km further West of the Port of Edinburgh, so Hannay couldn't jump off the Flying Scotsman onto the Forth Bridge.

Revealing mistake: During Mr Memory's act at the beginning of the film, a woman asks, "Who was the last British heavyweight champion of the world?". As she is saying this, you can see the man sitting next to her mouthing her exact words.
Richard Hannay: How far is Winnipeg from Montreal?
Mr. Memory: A gentleman from Canada. You're welcome, sir. Winnipeg, the third city of Canada and the capital of Manitoba. Distance from Montreal: 1424 miles.
Trivia: Director Alfred Hitchcock has a cameo role in this film - he is seen tossing some litter as Richard and Annabella run from the music hall.
