Continuity mistake: When Sid is discussing the plan with Ernie and Freddy, Ernie has his hand around the mug on the table, but in the next shot he has his hands clasped together and the mug is now next to them.

Continuity mistake: During the conversation with Dr Goode and Sir Bernard in Dr Goode's office, the position of Sir Bernard's hands on the desk changes between shots.

Continuity mistake: When the receptionist asks Nurse Carter for her first name, you can see the fingers on her left hand are lying straight but in the next shot they are bent.

Continuity mistake: When Sid says to Cyril that his skirt is a bit tight, Ernie has his arms by his side, but in the next shot his arms are now crossed.

Continuity mistake: When Freddy says to Cyril, "Couldn't you do with a bit more here?", Ernie is seen crossing his arms. In the next shot, he crosses his arms a second time.

Continuity mistake: When Dr Prodd crashes the ambulance into the hospital at the end of the film, Sir Bernard opens the door and you can see Dr Prodd is looking directly at the camera. In the next shot, he is looking directly at Sir Bernard.

Continuity mistake: When Sid is in the car with his son and Freddy and Ernie, you can see that Freddy is behind Cyril when he is driving. But when we see a close-up of Cyril, Freddy is nowhere to be seen.

Continuity mistake: When Freddy says "No 73 doesn't go to Brixton", you can see he is resting his arms, but in the next shot he can be seen putting his left arm on his right arm again.

Continuity mistake: When Sid is discussing the plan with Freddy and Ernie, the cup and tankard in front of Freddy on the table change position between shots.

Continuity mistake: When Matron asks Sid Carter for his name when he is in the hospital corridor, the position of Sid's hand on the door-frame changes between shots.

Continuity mistake: When Sister goes to see Mrs Tidey while she is eating a banana in her hospital bed, there is a box of chocolates in front of Mrs Tidey and you can see the top lid of the box is facing her, but when we see Mrs Tidey in the next shot, the front end of the box is now facing her.

Continuity mistake: When Sid Carter is discussing the plan with Ernie and Freddy, the milk bottle in front of Ernie changes position between shots.

Continuity mistake: When Sid tells Ernie and Freddy about the new job in the car at the end of the film, you can see Sid's hands are in front of him, but when Ernie and Freddy exit the car and run off in the next shot, Sid now has his right hand on the steering wheel.

Continuity mistake: When Sir Bernard says to Matron that he is not changing, you can see the jacket Sir Bernard is wearing is only pulled halfway up. But as the camera moves behind him in the next shot, his jacket is now fully on.

Continuity mistake: When Dr Goode is with Matron in her bedroom, he is holding a bottle of champagne and in one shot he has his thumb over the top of the bottle. In the next shot, the thumb is now around the bottle.

Continuity mistake: When Mr Tidey comes out of the taxi, he is holding his flag in his right hand. But when he comes through the hospital doors in the next shot, the flag is now in his left hand.

Continuity mistake: When Kenneth Williams gives back Wendy Richard her baby and says "I think he's just had one", he opens the entrance door and Wendy and another nurse are seen leaving, but in the very next shot when Kenneth is going into the hospital, Wendy and the other nurse have suddenly disappeared.

Revealing mistake: When Sid James blows up the store room door, the dynamite explodes before he turns the handle on the detonator.
