Continuity mistake: At the start of the lunch scene in Fred and Chloe's kitchen, there is a bottle of tomato ketchup on the table and the cap is beside the bottle. But in the shot of Chloe reading her magazine and drinking her tea, look at the ketchup bottle and the cap is now on it.

Continuity mistake: When Vic and Bernie enter the cinema, we cut to Lewis and Myrtle and you can see Vic is already sitting behind them, with his motorcycle helmet in his lap. In the next shot, Vic and Bernie shuffle along the row and take up their seats.

Continuity mistake: During the scene when Sid Plummer is seeing Vic and the other workers about a dispute, the position of Willie's arm on the basin in front of him changes between shots.

Continuity mistake: When Myrtle collides with Lewis when pushing her tea trolley, Lewis is initially standing in front of a notice board, but in the next shot he is standing in the front of the doors.

Continuity mistake: When Mr Boggs tells Miss Withering that "two weeks of this strike has finished us", you can see that that Miss Withering's cardigan is open but in the next shot it is now covering her shirt.

Continuity mistake: When Vic is telling his mother about the strike, he points his finger at her when he tells her was only doing it "for the good of the workers" and then he puts his hand down. But when his mother tells Vic that he's just like his father, we cut to Vic and he is pointing his finger at her again.

Continuity mistake: When Vic tries to drag Bernie out of the cinema, Vic initially has his hand under Bernie's arm but in the next shot his hand is now by his crash helmet.

Continuity mistake: When Vic Spanner meets the manager in the hotel, Vic shakes the manager's hand, but when we see the manager in the next shot, he now has his hands in front of his suit.

Continuity mistake: When Lewis and Myrtle are dancing at the club, Lewis bumps into Roger. At this point, Roger and Lewis are only a few inches apart from each other, but in the next shot they are now touching shoulders.

Audio problem: In WC Boggs' office, Charles Coote has just designed a toilet and Sid Plummer decides to test it by sitting down on it and reading The Sporting Life. Charles says, "It was hardly designed for a reading room", and in the next shot he can seen saying the word "room" again but with no sound.

Continuity mistake: When Miss Withering tells Mr Boggs about the fortune teller at the Brighton Pier, Mr Boggs is eating some jellied eels and you can see he has his hand in the pot, but in the next shot his hand is now out of the pot.

Continuity mistake: During his conversation with Sid, Benny the Bookie's cigar grows shorter and larger between shots.

Sid: How about some food?
Beattie: Well I could make you some beans on toast or something?
Sid: No, nothing too elaborate, thank you.
