Other mistake: In the prologue, you can hear that both Paul and Catherine Wagner have English accents. Why is it then that Chad and Alex would have French accents?
Suggested correction: Chad is raised in France, as pointed out several times during the film, and Alex was left by maid at a French orphanage.
Revealing mistake: During the car smuggling scene where Van Damme is fighting on the boat one of the thugs slides/falls against the side of one of the cars. If you look closely, you can see the side view mirror on the car is made of rubber.
Danielle: Where are you anyway?
Alex Wagner: I'm taking my brother on a fishing trip.
Danielle: Give him a big kiss for me, all right?
Alex Wagner: Big kiss? I'll give him a big kick in the ass, that's what I'll give him.
