More for The Believer

Daniel Balint: You wanna know the real reason why we hate them? Because they exist. We have all the reasons we need in three simple letters. J-E-W... Jew! You say it a million times, it's the one word that never loses its meaning.

When Daniel comes home on the evening of Yom HaKippurim, and his girlfriend wants to have a traditional meal, you can see by the light that it's sunset. Yet when right afterwards he's walking down the street, you can see that it's a much earlier time of the day.

For personal reasons, Ryan Gosling drank heated Coca-Cola instead of coffee during the interview scene.
