Continuity mistake: When Cheng watches Bu stick the note on the café window, no one else can be seen on the pavement in front of the café. When the scene is shown again inside the café, a father with a baby can be seen walking past the window, who were not seen the first time. (01:54:00 - 02:02:25)
Other mistake: In the cast list during end credits, the name "Wang Jin's granddaughter" is missing a 'T', misspelling it as "granddaugher". (03:50:25)
Revealing mistake: When Jin is walking through the train station with his granddaughter, right before Ling is shown standing at the ticket booth, a few of the extras that Jin walks past can be seen looking at the camera. (03:36:45)
Visible crew/equipment: When Ling leaves the apartment building after hitting the Dean and his wife with a bat, a crew member holding a radio can be seen standing next to the door just as she walks out the doorway. (03:03:35)
Visible crew/equipment: When Ling climbs out of the bathroom window and jumps onto the ground, the camera can be seen reflected in the window towards the bottom right-hand side of the shot. (03:02:13)
Revealing mistake: When Ling takes out her phone in the hotel bedroom, the time on the phone is 11:03. Given that daylight can be seen, the time must be 11:03am, but by this point in the story, it should be afternoon at the very least. Clearly, the scene must have been filmed in the morning. Continuity mistake: Ling walks outside the cafe after Bu puts the note on the window. When the scene is shown from Cheng's POV, she stands still after walking outside, then walks a few steps to take the note off the window. When the scene is shown again from her POV, she is a lot further away from the window than earlier and has to walk a larger distance to reach the window. (01:54:20 - 02:03:05)
Revealing mistake: After Jin beats up the two thugs with the pool cue, it cuts to Cheng walking down the street and on the phone. After getting off the phone, he continues walking, and some of the background extras can be seen looking at the camera as they walk past. (01:49:10)
Revealing mistake: When Jin and Bu are confronted by the dog owner, Bu is standing on the right side of the frame. Then suddenly, Bu ducks down in front of the camera and repositions himself on the left side of the frame. Presumably, the actor was standing on the wrong side of the frame and had to reposition himself and ducked down because he didn't want to get in the way of the camera but unintentionally got caught doing so.
