He quickly sets the plate on the table, so does not have time to adjust the position of the bowl. Factual error: Considering everything that happens after Lester comes down the stairs at Samantha's house around 10:05 PM, it is impossible for it to only be 10:15 when she sits down to eat pizza. Their scuffle and Samantha somehow getting Lester zip-tied in a chair alone would take much longer than 10 minutes. (00:15:42 - 00:38:28)
Other mistake: Samantha orders a pizza around 8:20 PM, which is to be delivered within 30 minutes. Lester comes down Samantha's steps around 10:05 and various time-consuming events occur (e.g. Samantha scuffles with Lester, somehow gets Lester zip-tied in a chair, and Samantha starts torturing Lester). Blair, "Cheezy Pizza" deliverer, approaches and knocks on the door. There is no mention of the pizza taking so long - closer to 2 or 3 hours than 30 minutes - to be delivered. (00:08:27 - 00:32:25)
