Ninja III: The Domination

Continuity mistake: When Billy pays the wise man from the Orient, the wad of bills does a 180° between shots. (00:47:45)

Continuity mistake: Christie is making out with the sleazy cop. We get a close-up of the poisoned ring and how she turned it, and she is ready to strike. She has both arms over his shoulders, both for the close-up of the fatal gesture, the arm is out of the way. (00:44:00)

Sammo

Continuity mistake: At the spa, Christie opens her robe. The darker haired lady-friend of the sleazy cop turns towards her noticing what she'd doing, but the following reaction shot begins with her still engaged in conversation; she notices the competition only a moment later. (00:43:10)

Sammo

Continuity mistake: In the scene at the spa, notice how Christie lets nonchalantly go the towels she used as an excuse to get in the room with the ladies and the sleazy cop Jimenez. She does the deed killing everyone, then as she walks away look at the towels and their much neater placement on the bench. (00:43:05 - 00:44:35)

Sammo

Continuity mistake: When the policeman throws the billiard balls at Ninja Christie, the balls have a different position on the table depending on the camera angle and the pool cue appears and disappears from the table. (00:38:30)

Sammo

Continuity mistake: Christie takes a breather after she called Billy. The position of her hand on the receiver - her pinky and ring fingers are at a very peculiar angle that she can't easily change - are suddenly different at the cut. (00:33:40)

Sammo

Continuity mistake: The male protagonist acts sassy about the Christine not liking cops and pulls over. His hand in the next shot is on top of the steering wheel, and in the first one it wasn't. (00:25:41)

Sammo

Continuity mistake: The first time we meet Christie, she is climbing a telephone pole for her job. She secures the position, and we get close-ups of the actress. She then begins her work using the box that appeared in front of her during those close-ups, because there was no such box in the first view of the pole. (00:13:20)

Sammo

Continuity mistake: The Black Ninja throws the smoke bomb and vanishes. The cops witness the scene in disbelief. The fat and balding one, called Case, removes his glasses and hat with a single movement. He's still wearing them in the wider angle, though. (00:12:05)

Sammo

Continuity mistake: When the Black Ninja in Green seemingly dies (first time of many), the extras are in wildly different positions between shots. Just as an example, in the second shot there's suddenly one dude on one knee on the hood of the car that wasn't there before. (00:11:15)

Sammo

Continuity mistake: After chilling in the pond a while, the ninja resumes killing cops left and right. He does not hit one with his katana (but he dies anyway), then he turns around to throw a shuriken at another; this new guy before the camera cuts away is simply raising his empty hands to die, but in close-up he's being more menacing, since he's aiming the gun. (00:10:25)

Sammo

Continuity mistake: The ninja kills the idiotic policeman who went in really close to check out the reed in the pond, and then runs away. He is as you'd expect completely soaked in water, but at the next cut he's totally dry. (00:10:10)

Sammo

Continuity mistake: When the second cop on a motorcycle falls into the lake, the stuntman deserves good cards from the judges for his dive, but in an earlier shot the ninja had already knocked him off the bike, into the dirt. (00:07:25)

Sammo

Continuity mistake: The police car that crashes into the lake has a perfectly intact roof; its roof was previously shot through, stabbed and punched through. (00:07:20)

Sammo

Continuity mistake: When the cops try to kill the ninja blasting through the patrol car roof with the shotgun, the officer's hands swap position between shots. (00:06:50)

Sammo

Continuity mistake: The guards of the golf course arrive to the crime scene and approach the corpse. One of them grabs his radio and calls the cops. He's by the corpse of the attractive partner of the main victim; look closely and, without wanting to paint any intent in his action, he ends up with a handful of the actress' bare thigh. In the next shot he's talking on the radio with a firm grip on a more sensible limb; her arm. (00:05:25)

Continuity mistake: When the ninja shows his super-strength by lifting the golf cart, his left-hand keeps changing position at the back of the vehicle. (00:04:40)

Sammo

Continuity mistake: Throughout the whole first fight scene the natural light is obviously different between shots. It is already noticeable at the very beginning when the golfer stands by the cart with much more sun on him in close-ups, but also even more obvious when the ninja downs the first opponent that falls in the shade but is lying fully in the sun as his partner assaults the not-so-elusive killer. (00:03:30)

Sammo

Continuity mistake: The ninja suits up during the opening credits; he reaches inside the weapon stash with his left hand to pick the shurikens, but in the following shot he draws back his right hand. (00:02:40)
