Corrected entry: In the final scene, he takes off his tennis shoes, but it doesn't seem that he ever puts on another pair of regular shoes.
Corrected entry: Near the end of the film, Mr. Rogers takes off his sneakers, but he is not shown putting his other shoes back on. However, he is wearing shoes when he walks out of the door.
Correction: He looks down and puts them on without picking them up.
Continuity mistake: Vogel was hit at the wedding by a right handed guy on the left side of his face however the injury appears on his right.
Andrea Vogel: Lloyd, please don't ruin my childhood.
Trivia: Joanne Rogers, Fred Rogers' widow, has a cameo as one of the restaurant patrons in the scene where Fred tells Lloyd to take a minute to think of all of the people who have loved him. So does David Alexander Newell, who played Mister McFeely.

Correction: If you look closely at the way he is moving his legs, it looks to me like he is putting on a pair of loafers.
I agree, especially when you see Tom Hanks looking down at his feet for a bit, the way someone would to put their feet into their shoes.
