Continuity mistake: In the beginning, when Ando sets down the metal box, in the first shot he's holding it with the hinged side facing towards him and against his thumb. When he sets it down, it has turned 180 degrees between cuts, and the side that opens is facing him and against his thumb.

Continuity mistake: In the opening, when Ando grabs the envelope from between the two books, the angle at which he's pulling the left book aside changes between cuts. It goes from being almost straight up to suddenly being at a near-45-degree angle.

Continuity mistake: When the detective is interviewing Mai with Ando near the beginning, Mai turns her face and the detective grabs it and turns her back. In the first shot, his hand is against her chin, but in the next shot, it's against her cheek.
