The Snowman is a glacial, gory crime drama/horror film about a serial killer who's preying on Oslo residents in winter and has Michael Fassbender as a cop trying to stop his crime spree. His only calling card are strange snowmen and many of the victims are women. Odd music, unfamiliar names and near-constant snowfall give it an otherworldly and weird atmosphere, as do the horrible murders.
