Factual error: After the naval battle, Thraex is waiting for an informant who tips him off about Lucilla and Marcus Acacius's plans. And of course, as a well-educated gentleman of 200 AD, he kills time by reading the newspaper. Wait, what? Needless to say (to anyone but Ridley Scott, probably), ancient Romans wouldn't/couldn't exactly get their news by newspaper, the press having not been invented yet. This one looks so modern in its layout it even has headlines and a proper publication title, "Roma Viridia."
Factual error: In the diner, the kids listen to/dance to Britney Spears' "Toxic," which didn't release as a single until January 2004. This takes place in 2003.
Factual error: The movie, by various accounts, takes place 300 years after the apes took over and humans were rendered "dumb" (both literally and in the (non-PC), mute meaning of the word) or went underground. But yet they're making contact with a communication satellite. Satellites don't function for 300 years; they require occasional course corrections to keep from entering the atmosphere and burning up. Course corrections require propellant. The propellant wouldn't last 300 years. And the electronics.
Continuity mistake: When Jessica kills the sniper with the rock at the beginning, the sniper's body is lying dead on the ridge. When she shuffles down the dune to speak to Paul, mere seconds later, the sniper's body is no longer there. (00:09:04)
Continuity mistake: When Deep Dark Secret breaks the jar to free the emotions, look at where the emotions are standing, and how the huge piece of glass lands behind them. In about three seconds, the piece of glass changes position, and some of the emotions switch places. (00:33:08)
Continuity mistake: GUN was formed during the events of Sonic the Hedgehog 2. In the Knuckles series, the Buyer stated that GUN had existed long ago, under a different name. However, in the flashback in Sonic 3, the door of the laboratory that Shadow was in has the GUN logo.
Continuity mistake: In the staff room of the toy store, Callum gives Jack his Monopoly box to hold. The box does a 180° spin between shots, twice.
Factual error: The characters are using Channel 9 on the CB radios, which is a reserved channel for emergency use, not civilian use for communications.
Character mistake: When the minion tries to get out on the top of the small car, it faces forward, but two shots later, it is now facing the back.
Continuity mistake: The name tag on Podcast's uniform is always hand-written. When he puts on the scarf to start the final battle, it still is hand-written. When he shows up to smash the cables box, it's now a black and red sewn name, just like the rest of the Ghostbusters' uniforms. According to Ghostbusters Fandom there's a deleted scene where Ray gives Podcast an official name patch. Character mistake: Zhen tells Mr. Ping and Li that at least they didn't lie to Po, and Mr. Ping says that it's true. It's actually not true because Mr. Ping lied about the secret ingredient to his soup, and Li lied about knowing Chi.
Factual error: During the scene inside the submarine, you see a Commander (O5) giving orders to a captain (O6). This would never be a thing on any vessel. You would have a Commander as a Commanding Officer on a submarine, but not having a Captain working for the Commander.
Plot hole: Given contestants were carefully checked for steroids at show time, mainly by urine tests, it seems unlikely Jackie would have been allowed to compete once her steroid use was discovered.
Suggested correction: Not at the amateur level, and not during the time period depicted in the movie.
Continuity mistake: During the robbery at the convenience store, Marcus raises his left wrist and looks at his watch. A shot later, his hand is lowered.
Visible crew/equipment: When the 6 main characters open the hatch to the sewer, there appears to be a crew member helping them open it. There is only 6 of them in the scene. But, there is a seventh person at the top who looks to be wearing a m95 mask. This is also in the opening scene of the first trailer.
Continuity mistake: When Eddie and Martin meet for the first time in the woods and they are having a conversation, Rhys Ifans wears his necklace with the pendant above his clothes in the majority of the shots, except the ones when the camera is focused on Tom Hardy and he is facing left. In those shots, the pendant is under the T-shirt.
Continuity mistake: Several times throughout the movie, Thelma's eyes appear to change colour.
