Continuity mistake: When Tim and Lex first arrive, Lex is wearing a purple tank top with a colorful design, and in the following scenes or even between consecutive shots her tank top changes to completely different designs, though it's the same style of tank top.
Continuity mistake: When the bobsled team is getting their act together in Calgary, there's a scene of them pushing off with an unpainted bobsled. In the shots of the feet of the guys pushing at the back of the sled, you can see that the lower back of the sled is painted black with green stripes, the colours that they paint the sled in a scene a few minutes later.
Continuity mistake: When the jet crashes, we see a shot from below showing a large portion of it poking out over the cliff. We then cut to the parachutists, and when we cut back to the jet, we see that very nearly all of it is safely on rock.
Continuity mistake: After failing to catch Sassy, who went down the waterfall, Shadow and Chance are walking by the river bank. In one shot, Shadow's fur is wet, then dry, then wet again.
Continuity mistake: In one extended scene, Chris O'Donnell is talking with someone. Almost every time the camera comes back to him, the ties on his shirt are first crossed, then uncrossed, etc.
Continuity mistake: Early in the movie, the kids go moto-surfing and the jeep they are riding in changes from having a door to not having a door.
Continuity mistake: Just after Huck (Elijah Wood) hides in the piano, Mary Jane comes in to visit her dead brother in his coffin before they bury him. She sets down her candle and in the next shot a chair suddenly appears beside her to sit down.
Continuity mistake: When the Turtles are climbing the wall to get into the garbage-chute that leads to the prison, you can see Donatello's bandana tail hanging down towards the wall just as if they were crawling on the floor. (01:09:05)
Continuity mistake: After 70 days in the Andes, Nando has not grown a beard. Two days later, when they come with the choppers, he's managed to grow quite a nice one.
Suggested correction: It's possible that Nando continued shaving (offscreen) while they were living at the plane, but gave it up (or left his razor behind) during the trek out of the mountains. In real life, some of the survivors did shave while in the mountains.
Continuity mistake: When Jesse jumps into the pool to ride on Willy's back for the first time he is fully submerged. However, while riding the whale, his hair is dry.
Continuity mistake: When Jack rips the door off the cab, he first breaks the top hinge and enters the cab. In the next shot when he pulls the cabbie out of the car, the door is completely off and laying on the ground. A few shots later when Jack grabs the newspaper, the door is seen hanging again. Continuity mistake: Bernie gets shot underwater with the spear and can't let go of the chest. But when they take the vest off Larry to float Bernie up to the surface, Bernie takes his hand off of the handle to get the vest on.
