Continuity mistake: In most of the scenes it is quite evident that Jessica has only a thin green dress on; when she meets Box she takes it off and she is nude. Later when she is outside of the dome and walking through the woods, she ducks to avoid some brush and she now has underwear on.
Factual error: The fact that the respiration of a single animal - however large - could lead to an increase in the level of carbon dioxide in the local area is so absurd it is laughable. Carbon dioxide exhalation is part of a closed loop cycle and the CO2 exhaled by Kong would be matched by the CO2 taken in by the plants growing on the island. It cannot be otherwise. Elevated levels of carbon dioxide are incredibly dangerous and any animal living on the island - including Kong - would suffer if things got out of kilter.
Visible crew/equipment: When the train cars are decoupled, behind the vapor cloud, a person is hanging from the left side of the train car but does not resemble any of the characters in the scene. (01:47:00)
Continuity mistake: John Norman (Kris Kristofferson) and Esther Hoffman (Barbra Streisand) are sitting at the table talking. John opens a bottle of wine and every time the shot faces John the cap is on, but when the shot faces Esther the cap is off, over and over again.
Factual error: In the scene where Cinderella is in her new room at the Prince's castle, the roses prominently displayed in the foreground are brightly coloured Hybrid Tea roses (the pointy ones) which were not bred until the early 20th Century. In the 1700s (panniered skirts and powdered hair) the roses would have been of looser formation, with softer colours, e.g pink or cream cabbage roses. (These roses also appear in later scenes.)
Revealing mistake: When the supervisor is telling Geronimo to clean up the dog feces, there are three men across the street in front of Al's Coffee Shop watching the filming. (00:42:55)
