Zulu (1964)

Zulu picture

Revealing mistake: When Mr Witt rides out of the Zulu camp in a 2 horse cart at the beginning of the movie, just before it exits, you can see it's a stunt double at the reins.

633 Squadron picture

Other mistake: As the special bombs are being towed onto the base, a modern white saloon car is seen driving past on the road.

Dr. Strangelove picture

Factual error: When the B-52 is flying low over Russia, the shadow on the ground is a Boeing B-17G, a World War II propeller driven bomber.

Hush... Hush, Sweet Charlotte picture

Audio problem: After disposing of Dr. Drew's supposedly dead body, Miriam tells Charlotte to get out of the car and go up to her room. Charlotte has been wearing thin slippers on her feet yet when she steps onto the porch, you can hear the sound of heels as she walks. (01:57:25)

The Killers picture

Continuity mistake: Near the end, Charlie, badly wounded and after killing Jack and Sheila, staggers from the house. As he stumbles towards his car, there is a gated driveway with a car parked in it. A few seconds later, the car is no longer there. (01:33:45)

The Last Man on Earth picture

Continuity mistake: About 25 minutes into the film, Vincent Price puts two vampire bodies into the back of his station wagon. Viewed from the open rear door, the woman is on the right side face up and the man is on the left side face down, and he drives off to the pit. In the next scene, he parks the car at the pit and when he goes to unload the bodies, the woman is now on the left side face down and the man is one the right side face up. For people who have died and then been killed again, they sure did move around a lot in the back of that car.

Fail-Safe picture

Factual error: When the pursuing fighter jets are supposed to start their engine afterburners, we instead see a short clip of them firing their air-to-air missiles.

The Yellow Rolls-Royce picture

Audio problem: When Rex Harrison and his wife come back from a drive in the new car, a man is winding the record player so it will play the record, but as he winds, the player moves, which would surely make the record jump, but it doesn't - the sound is perfect.

The Fall of the Roman Empire picture

Becket (1964)

Becket picture

Factual error: At the start of the excommunication scene, the monks are chanting Dies Irae, a thirteenth century Catholic poem, but St. Thomas Becket died in 1170, almost a century before the poem was written.

Connor Attard
Seven Days in May picture

Visible crew/equipment: The shadow of a camera and cameraman are revealed on the left side while the President (Frederic March) is moving from one room to another (door jamb), after learning about Martin Balsam's death. (01:20:00 - 01:21:00)
