Trevor Hudson's Legacy - S5-E18
Visible crew/equipment: When the woman picks up the hitchhiker the filming equipment is reflected on her car.
Trevor Hudson's Legacy - S5-E18
Revealing mistake: There are 2 scenes involving Jessica inside a car. In the first one the car drives calmly as seen from the outside shots, but from the shots inside the car is speeding. When the episode is about to end the car speeds to the police station and now the exact same projection is played, though this time it makes sense.
The Sins of Castle Cove - S5-E17
Visible crew/equipment: When the hairdresser buys a lot of books and leaves in her car, a huge screen and scaffold are reflected on the rear window.
Factual error: The whole episode is run as if based in the UK, and yet the script has obviously been written by an American. The UK does not have autopsies, it has post-mortems. The UK does not have a trunk (of a car) it has a boot.
Plot hole: When Jessica is arrested for the murder of the enemy agent. Her purse is confiscated. It was reported stolen by Michael Haggerty. But throughout the whole show none of the cops looked at her ID. Besides that she's a famous women and someone at the police station would definitely know who she is.
Murder Among Friends - S12-E16
Plot hole: End of the show when Diane confesses makes no sense. There were 3 sets of fingerprints on the computer. She killed her with it, but somehow her fingerprints never showed up on the laptop. (00:41:45)
Who Killed J.B. Fletcher? - S7-E14
Factual error: Bremerton, Washington is not a hick town as depicted in this episode (it is the home of Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, a US Navy installation that employs 14,000 people) and the people there do not have southern accents.
Dead Letter - S6-E6
Factual error: Unlike the Connie Kowalski character in this episode, real insurance investigators are not trained in arson investigation. Insurance investigators search for evidence of fraud relating to insurance claims. Arson investigators are professional firefighters who have had extensive additional training in arson investigation.
Fire Burn, Cauldron Bubble - S5-E13
Factual error: The only instances of "witchcraft" or "witch trials" in America were in Salem, Massachusetts. There were none in Maine or anywhere else. The Salem witch trials spanned 15 months, from February, 1692 to May 1693. Over 200 people were accused of witchcraft, but only 30 were found guilty. Of the 30, 14 women and 5 men were executed by hanging and one man, Giles Corey, was executed by "pressing." Another five died in jail, but none were burned at the stake, which was a punishment unique to Europe.
Factual error: When Buck's body is found, his blood is red when it should be brown due to oxidation after how much time has passed.
Visible crew/equipment: When the sheriff and the mayor meet at the fix-it shop, the filming crew plus the boom mic pole are reflected on the side of the red car.
Plot hole: Buccaneer was created by Mr. Vandervelt, so Mr Kimble would never be able to use it to race under any circumstances. (00:42:45)
Funeral at Fifty-Mile - S1-E22
Other mistake: It's a clear day not a stormy night as it should be when showing the barn in the flashback. Look closely and you can see a clear sky through the barn walls cracks.
Continuity mistake: When Danny dives into the ocean he's wearing different shorts than he was on the beach.
Plot hole: There were 3 gunshots. 1 from Magnum, 1 from the killer and 1 from the victim. Yet they arrest Magnum with checking the bullet striations. He would be declared innocent almost immediately. (00:17:00)
Plot hole: Barney Kale decides to reopen a case he couldn't solve. Based on the outcome it makes no logic whatsoever. He is the murderer. Why would he bring attention to it put himself in danger? (00:46:50)
Suggested correction: He was being blackmailed by Gary Roberts. He "reopened" the case as a ruse to kill Roberts.
