Continuity mistake: When Charlie Epps is writing a quadrillion on the whiteboard, the writing alternates between shots. Most noticably when he first writes it down, there is a significant downward tendency of the 000 groups. In the next shot, they are pretty much horizontal. Also the shapes of the commas alter.
Revealing mistake: Season 5 Episode 18 "Spark of Life": when they show a closeup of the badly-burned woman during her debridement, it can be seen that even though her eyebrows and hair and, in fact, 90% of her skin has been burned away, she still has long, full eyelashes.
Plot hole: Beckett and Castle lose their cell phones and wallets and are being chased by the mob. Beckett steals a cell phone from a car but can't use it, since it is locked and then shut off remotely. Any cell phone can always dial 911, whether locked or blocked from service.
Revealing mistake: When KITT takes part in the race and goes up on two wheels, you can see that the stunt driver is behind the wheel and that a dummy is strapped into the passenger's seat.
Continuity mistake: At the start of this episode Rossi tells Garcia about the case he's obsessed with, "It's the 20th anniversary of this crime. Twenty years tomorrow, three children woke up and found their parents murdered." However, during S3xE11 "Birthright," while working on their current Wilkinson case, Rossi shows Caulfield (the sheriff of the original Wilkinson case from 1980) the victim's charm bracelet he carries, then tells him about the Indianapolis case he's never forgotten, and how every year since then he's called the victims' children. And later, after Caulfield tells Rossi it's been 27 years since his own unsolved case, he asks Rossi how long it's been for him and Rossi says, "21," then Caulfield cautions, "Don't let it get to 22."
Factual error: There is no way Laurel Lance would have been allowed on the prosecution team for Moira Queen's murder trial. Due to the facts that she used to date the defendant's son, the defendant's daughter used to intern for her, and her boyfriend was one of the people killed in the Glades it would have taken all of two seconds for the court to have her removed if she didn't willingly recuse herself, since her presence would be a major conflict of interest.
Continuity mistake: "Hunters & the Hunted": The Black Beauty drives past a red and white 1957 Chevy BelAir parked on the street. In the next shot, from inside the car as they pass, the Chevy is suddenly parked in the same spot, but facing in the opposite direction. Next shot, as the bad guy follows them, the Chevy is facing forward again.
Continuity mistake: In the opening scene when John is going to the refrigerator, a white skull can be seen on the left side of the kitchen table amongst all Sherlock's science equipment. When he closes the refrigerator door again after discovering the severed head, the skull has disappeared. As he's leaving the kitchen, the skull reappears.
Continuity mistake: At the beginning during the bridge jump scene, the A-Team van changes. It suddenly has round headlights, its hub caps can be seen popping off when it lands, and it doesn't have any spotlights. The real van has double square shaped headlights, steel spoked rims, and spotlights.
Factual error: In the opening shot of the episode they show a plane landing at an airport, and it say Dulles International Airport on the screen. There is even a nice shot of the US Capitol building in the background, the problem is that Dulles Airport is about 25 miles from Washington, if the shot is real it was filmed at Reagan National Airport.
Continuity mistake: In the episode, "Year of the Tiger" when Danny is driving Mr. Zhao in his convertible at night, you can really see that the background is a bad fake and since even though Danny is driving with the top down, his hair and clothing does not get ruffled at all by the wind.
