Continuity mistake: When Peter's great-great uncle, Ulysses S. Griffin, is with Robert E. Lee, all the Confederate soldiers have their straps over their left shoulders, but in the closeup two soldiers have their straps over their right shoulders.
Other mistake: Joe Swanson is colored incorrectly. His color scheme is apparently the same as Peter Griffin's when looking at his skin color and hair. It is fixed shortly afterwards. (00:11:54)

Continuity mistake: At the top of the mountain, there are 3 string of flags attached to a pole. The shortest of which is 3 flags. Red, Blue, Yellow. Continuity mistake: At the end of the episode Chris is taking his suitcase upstairs. He walks in front the couch where everyone is sitting and heads towards the stairs. Next shot shows him walking behind the couch as if he entered the front door and walked behind the couch and over to the stairs.
