Continuity mistake: At the Founding Father Restaurant, Stewie is drawing on a treasure map in red crayon and Peter takes it. In the next scene, where Peter shows the map to Quagmire and Joe at the Clam, the red crayon mark is no longer there.

In the next shot, as Stewie walks back to his forklift, the crate the woman is sitting on and the lunchbox are a much further distance from the man. The shot then pulls out, and the woman and her lunchbox are suddenly back to the original distance.
Continuity mistake: In the cutaway of Brian in the Old Yeller remake, he takes out a gun and goes to shoot a boy. When he first fires, the shell from the first gunshot lands on the ground beside him, but in the next shot, the shell has suddenly rotated itself by about 90° to the left.

Answer: Lacey Chabert was the actress who originally voiced Meg in early episodes. She left of her own accord due to being in school and other acting work; Seth MacFarlane has stated there was no tension with her leaving, but it makes for a handy joke for the show.
