Other mistake: When Station 51 is on scene at the landslide, there's a dresser on the grass in front of the house, and when the explosion occurs due to the broken gas main, in the closeups as Johnny dives to the ground there's what looks like a can of gasoline (used for the stunt perhaps) atop that dresser that wasn't there before, and it's also not in the wide shots as Johnny dives down.

Visible crew/equipment: After Roy and Johnny speak to Chet's friend the realtor, when Station 51 is being dispatched to the accident on Harbor Freeway, in the overhead shot of the apparatus bay, we can see the shadow/reflection of production equipment moving on the engine's windshield.

Revealing mistake: While the squad and engine are en route to "possible fire", one of the camera angles is from the POV behind Roy and John, where the back of squad is located. That’s fine, but the problem is that there's bright sunlight on their backs as they’re driving, when it should not be there. Artistic license is acceptable, but with so much sunlight where it should not be it reveals that Squad 51 is not in its normal state.

Revealing mistake: Dixie and Brackett rush onto the elevator with a crash cart to go up to the third floor, for a possible MI in the dental clinic. The camera's POV is from the elevator, and in one continuous shot, without cutting away, we see the ER hallway through the open doors, then the doors close and in a few moments the doors open on the third floor. Even though the set has changed a bit, we can tell it's still the ER hallway by things such as the same scuff marks on the floor, and we can also catch a glimpse of the paramedic status board on the wall, where the base station room is located.

Other mistake: After Brackett tries unsuccessfully to get O'Brien on the line to ask about the fish tank, it cuts to an exterior shot of Station 51, and we hear the dispatcher say, "All units responding with Engine 3 cancel," but subtitles read, "Four units with Engine 3 cancelled." Revealing mistake: After Johnny joins Roy in the ambulance and the patient flatlines they continue to Rampart, and when Brackett asks 51 for a strip, if we look out the window that's beside Johnny, we can see GlamourTrams in the distance. And when Roy says, "Isopeterenol drip, 10-4," we can see GlamourTrams right outside the window. They are driving around Universal's lot while shooting the footage inside the ambulance.

Continuity mistake: When Dixie shows Johnny the newspaper, Johnny reads the ad aloud which states, "Wanted, 1925 Paige fire truck, $25,000, if in mint condition," and Johnny says that it is exactly what the ad submitter wants. The "it" being Roy and Johnny's refurbished fire truck. The problem is that in 3x2, "The Old Engine," when Johnny and Roy are telling Chet and Marco about their purchase, Johnny says that it's a 1932 Dennis, and when they're looking it over, the blue "Dennis" emblem is attached to the hood of the engine.

Revealing mistake: After the MI patient from the construction site is brought to treatment 1, when Early uses the laryngoscope for an endotracheal intubation, we can see that he merely places the laryngoscope at the side of the man's face, especially since we can still see the entire distal end beside the man's neck.

Trivia: At the end, when Johnny's tape recorder idea doesn't quite work out the way he and Roy had hoped, Johnny gets very flustered and frustrated with the recorder, and sets it down on the table, then Johnny looks right up into the camera lens and gives viewers an indescribable look, thereby "breaking the fourth wall."

Other mistake: When the man injured in the manhole is brought to treatment 6, Early tells Roy to patch him up for an EKG, but the subtitles read, "Patch one from the EKG," and then Early tells the x-ray technician to do a skull and chest series, but the subtitles read, "Skull and chest searches." Other mistake: On scene at the traffic accident, when the woman and the boy with non-serious injuries are seated at the back of the ambulance, neither Roy or Johnny are going along with them to Rampart, yet Johnny puts the drug box inside the back of the ambulance with them, and the ambulance drives off. With their drug box! Captain Stanley even says that he'll advise dispatch that they're available for a run at the scene, while the guys will be looking for the dog.

Continuity mistake: When the man with three bullet wounds is wheeled into the ER, he's taken into treatment 3 which has a windowless door, but in the shots from inside the room he's in treatment 1 with a window on its door, and the room has a different interior.
