Foodfight! (2012)

Character mistake: When Dex is rescuing the three baby kittens from the Fat Cat Burglar, he says to the burglar "I'm giving you one last chance to hand him over before I cash in your coupons for you." The Fat Cat Burglar is holding three kittens hostage, so in this context, Dex should have said "hand them over" and not "hand him over." (00:02:55)

Suggested correction: He says "hand ‘em over" (meaning "them"), not "him."

Bishop73

He says "hand him over", not "hand ‘em over." This is evident by the fact that there is a distinct H heard, plus there is also a distinct I heard after the H, showing that he says "hand him over" and not "hand ‘em over." It is possible the line "hand ‘em over" was written in the script, but that is not what is heard onscreen.

I watched the scene several times to verify prior to making the correction and I heard ‘em every time.

Suggested correction: Kryten is not mouthing the line "Hot bovril." He is just moving his mouth slightly up and down, which coincidentally happened to occur when Baxter was saying the line.

Back in the Red (3) - S8-E3

Visible crew/equipment: When the Cat says "You mean to help you get out if the program freezes" on Blue Midget, a soundman can be seen crouching behind the control panel. The top of his head is visible in the top right of the screen. (00:14:10)

Suggested correction: That is not the head of a soundman crouching behind the control panel, or any crew member for that matter. What you are seeing is Kryten's hand moving around.

Suggested correction: First, Lister is shown looking out the window throughout the scene, and second, he still has an entire view of outside the window within his eyesight. Lister likely already seen Mussolini within his eyesight before turning to face his direction, which he likely did to assure himself it was definitely Mussolini.

Suggested correction: As a hologram, this would also mean Rimmer could not touch or sit on the chair. The chair was likely a hologram as well, used to be operable by Rimmer. It has been shown before that Rimmer can still interact with other holographic objects.

Correction: You've obviously never been to an English public school.

Correction: It has been established that whenever a picture is being used as a form of time travel, real time will always pass within in the photo. For example, the crew use a photo from when Lister was in Smeg and the Heads, which would have been a single photo taken whilst the band is performing, but time passes when the photo is being displayed as shown by the band performing before they go inside the photo. The likely answer to this is that Rimmer acquired a photo of his bed from boarding school that was probably taken during the day and then waited several hours until night time to inside the photo.

Suggested correction: When the exterior shot of Blue Midget is shown, it is not very easy to tell the crew apart. They appear blurred, so it is impossible to determine who is sitting in which place.

Corrected entry: When Lister is preparing the meal, he puts all the ingredients into the microwave and closes the door. When he opens it again, a plate has magically appeared inside the microwave. (00:04:20)

Dwarf

Correction: Lister also dumps a lot of curry powder into the microwave, and when he reopens the door after baking, there is a full meal prepared. Clearly, this is not a mistake, but in fact part of the futuristic technology used to create the meal. The plate was likely generated along with the rest of the meal.

Better Than Life - S2-E2

Corrected entry: At the restaurant, the guide hands Lister his caviar vindaloo, which he states is "half rice, half chips and more bread and butter to follow", but there are visibly no chips on the plate. There are caviar, vindaloo, rice and potato wedges shown on the plate, but no chips. (00:19:25)

Casual Person

Correction: In this case, no. I've been to many places where the restaurant makes no distinctions in why type of fries or chips they serve. I've been served fries that look exactly like the potato wedges Lister got before.

Bishop73

Correction: The potato wedges are the "chips." It's a British term for fried potatoes or what Americans may call "fries."

Bishop73

Potato wedges and chips are made from potato, but are still two different things. If the guide wanted to say it was half potato wedges, then he could have just said "half potato wedges."

Correction: This is because they are not in the hologram simulation suite at this point, they are in the control room. When the explosion occurs, and when Holly realises it was the yellow cable Lister was meant to use, they are in the hologram simulation suite. The scene then cuts to them in the control room afterwards, and Holly is standing in his current position because he has just entered through the door to the control room.

Blade Runner 2049 (2017)

Corrected entry: When his car is shot down, they break open the car door with a cutting machine. Some time later he closes the door and it's undamaged.

Correction: The damage to the door does not disappear. The scavengers place the cutting machine below the window frame, and beginning sawing until the door opens. When the machine is removed, there is a visible cut below the window frame. This cut below the window frame remains there for the rest of the scene.

Home Alone (1990)

Corrected entry: After Marv gets a nail shoved in his foot in the basement and instead of going back up stairs, he just decides to go back up the slippery ice stairs outside, why did he ditch the basement stairs, he could have gotten in the house a lot quicker without cutting his feet, all he had to do was look out for the nail.

Correction: It wasn't just the nail that was the problem, Kevin had also covered the basement stairs in tar which made everything stick to it. Had Marv attempted to walk up the basement stairs a second time would have taken far too long because his foot would have gotten stuck on each step. Walking back up the slippery ice stairs would probably have been much quicker.

Casual Person

If Marv tried the basement stairs a second time he could have gotten his shoes and red socks out of the tar.

Correction: Marv is also not the brightest bulb in the box to it's pretty reasonable to believe he wouldn't have thought any of it through.

Weight Gain 4000 - S1-E4

Corrected entry: When the kids are rehearsing the play, the crowd only appears when Mr. Garrison says "To hell with Kathy Lee Gifford." The crowd is nowhere to be seen before then. (00:11:00)

Sol Parker

Correction: The crowd's immediate appearance in the scene is not sudden. The crowd is first shown on screen after Mr. Garrison says "To hell with Kathy Lee Gifford". Before this point, the last time an angle from in front of the stage that the kids are rehearsing the play on is about 25 seconds before the crowd's "sudden appearance", in the shot where the kids playing the attackers invade the Indian land. This twenty five second gap would give the crowd ample time to get to a closer view of the stage whilst the kids were rehearsing.

Correction: Cartman's height growth was purposefully done as part of the visual joke to show how his weight gain has exaggeratedly affected his body. The effects are not supposed to be done in a scientifically accurate manner, but done more to show the audience how ineffective Cartman's attempts at getting into shape had become through a visual medium, without resorting to any sort of needless exposition.

South Park is Gay! - S7-E8

Corrected entry: When Kyle is seen getting on the train to meet the Queer Eye guys, Sharon Marsh is seen sitting on the train. Later, she is seen back in South Park with the other moms discussing how the metro-sexual fad may not be so great after all.

Correction: Sharon Marsh is never shown on the train. There is someone who bears a resemblance to her, but it is not her; the person being referred to who is on the train is only shown from the side, so it is impossible to determine if it really is her and the person also wears entirely different clothing than Sharon Marsh is usually shown wearing.

Lil' Crime Stoppers - S7-E6

Corrected entry: When Sarah Peterson comes to report that her doll is missing, Butters' name is already on the cardboard wall in front of the stairs. But he does not get questioned about Sarah's doll until later.

Correction: While there is a cardboard wall with a suspects list and Butters' name is on it before he is questioned, there is nothing in the scene that suggests the suspect list had something to do with the missing doll case. The cardboard wall/suspects list also mentions Token and another kid called Sky whose names have been crossed out and within the episode, they have never been mentioned as part of the case, so it is plausible that the cardboard wall listing the suspects could have been part of an entirely different case that Butters was also a suspect in.

Despicable Me (2010)

Corrected entry: If the effects of the shrink ray wear off depending on the size of whatever is shrunk then the moon should have returned to its normal size within seconds of being shrunk.

Correction: This entry is merely an assumption. It is made clear that the larger an object that the shrink ray is used on, the quicker the effects of the wear off, but that's it. There is nothing in the movie that states specifically how long it would take for the effects of the shrink ray on the moon to wear off, so this can't really be considered a plot hole.

The Dealership - S9-E11

Corrected entry: The mechanic got the last two twix bars. Assuming George finally got change from the cashier, where did the twix bars come from for the candy lineup? And further, why wouldn't George just eat the twix since he wanted one so badly?

Cinderdan

Correction: George presumably would have gotten the other Twix bars from a nearby store, off-screen. The reason why George didn't eat one of the Twix bars is simply all part of the joke - he was so determined and fixated on trying to catch out the mechanic that it simply did not occur to him that there were Twix bars there for him to eat. In fact, it is not until the plan had failed, where he then decides to have one if the Twix bars, only to find out there are none left.
