Continuity mistake: In 'Time and Punishment,' when Homer exits the basement, he discovers Bart and Lisa are giants, and he then screams and runs back to the "basement" - however the same door that leads to the basement seconds ago, now leads to a green -carpeted room, and the basement seems to have vanished. Continuity mistake: In 'Time and Punishment,' Homer goes back in time, then returns, and the kitchen table has plates of food, cutlery and glasses all set out. Then when Homer is informed that Ned is the Lord of the Universe, the house starts shaking, but you can see the table is now totally clear. (00:11:15)

Continuity mistake: When Andy is about to brush his teeth, Maggie takes all of the bowls and plates from beside Andy's birthday cake and starts putting them away in the cupboards. Then a few shots later, Maggie walks back to the birthday cake and picks up some more bowls/plates, which have appeared beside the cake. (00:16:10)

Continuity mistake: When Andy pours the cereal, and then the milk, there is cereal on the counter, to the left of the bowl. There is loads of cereal on the counter, then when Andy puts the burnt toast onto a plate, there is much less cereal. Then when he takes the tray from the counter, there's now loads of cereal on it. Continuity mistake: When Richard spots Paddy laying on the ground, they sail over to him. As they run up the beach there's hardly any seaweed around Paddy's body. Yet when it cuts there is much more seaweed around him. Continuity mistake: In the house with blue shutters and a red door in Winchestertonfieldville, Iowa, a little boy chokes on his gum. Pam starts hitting him on the back. They are standing on the landing by a banister with a pink and purple mat hanging over it. When Pam hits the boy's head on the banister, the mat is gone. Then when the boy spits out the gum, the mat has returned. (00:59:40)

Continuity mistake: When Catherine enters Carl's mind for the second time, she follows young Carl into the house, and he is doing the dishes. The large plate in his hand does not have any designs on it, however, when they show him putting the plate down on the counter, the plate has a flowery design. The plate already on the counter (which he puts the other plate on) has a flowery design on it, but between these same shots, the design on the plate totally changes. (01:00:00)

Revealing mistake: In many shots throughout the film it is very obvious when it is a blue screen, plate and/or matte painting shot, by the area around the subjects and/or the subjects' appearance or disappearance onscreen. Some examples can be found with the Fireys and Sarah, during the Chilly Downs scene, and later, when Sarah breaks the glass with the chair, part of her face disappears when she stands with the glass behind her. Continuity mistake: When Karen brings Chucky to her apartment, she forces that he talks and he doesn't, so Karen goes to the kitchen for a glass of water, and as she walks to the kitchen you can see the TV in the lounge with nothing on top of it. Yet moments later, when Karen threatens to throw Chucky into the fireplace, there are books/videos/papers on top of the TV. (00:42:10 - 00:45:00)
