Continuity mistake: When Cindy is talking to the guy in the lighthouse, her shirt collar goes form under her jacket to over her jacket to back to over. (00:52:15)
Continuity mistake: When the president is welcoming everybody to the White House and we can see the sign that says "Mother Theresa Community Awards". If you look to the left, you can see an old black couple. In front of them, you can see a white couple. When it cuts to a shot from behind them, you can see the white couple has moved farther to the right. (00:55:25)
Continuity mistake: When the president is giving his speech, you see three camera men in the background filming him at a distance from each other. When it cuts, two of the camera men have moved closer to each other. (00:55:30)
Other mistake: When the Presient is chanting "Hey how are ya" to the native americans, in a wide shot you can see Wilson slap his face with embarrassment. Then it cuts to a closeup of Wilson, and he once again turns his head and slaps his face. (00:55:45)
Continuity mistake: Just as the president introduces the symbol of merit, you see Wilson lifting the blanket up. When it cuts he lifts it again. (00:55:55)
Revealing mistake: When Wilson has uncovered the small Mother Theresa puppets, you can see the table is shaking in order to make them wobble. (00:56:00)
Continuity mistake: When Agent Thompson approach the president and ask "Mr.President, is everything alright?", you see Thompson standing straight up. When it cuts Agent Thompson is crouching in front of the president. (00:57:10)
Revealing mistake: When the president's security officer is blowing up the picture of Mother Theresa with a shot gun, it is obvious that the explosion is coming from the outside since all the pieces blow inwards. (00:57:15)
Continuity mistake: When Agent Thompson blows up the Mother Theresa picture you see everybody running away and jumping to the ground before the explosion. When it cuts to Thompson and the president running through the hole that was made by the explosion, there is a man lying on the floor right beside the hole and a nun standing by the hole. They shouldn't be in the picture at all since they all ran away. (00:57:20)
Continuity mistake: When Cindy gets home looking for Cody, take a look at the couch on the left side as she comes in the door. You can see a drawing on it. The exact same drawing as the one that lies on Cody's bed when she enters his room in the next shot. (00:57:30)
Continuity mistake: When Cindy enters Cody's room, and see's his TV is on, her hands are down by her side. Then as it cuts, just before she picks up the picture off of his bed, her hands are up by her chest. (00:57:35)
Continuity mistake: When Cindy gets back home she walks into Cody's room to see if he is in there. She then spots a drawing on the bed. She picks the drawing up with her left hand. When it cuts to a closeup of the drawing she is holding the drawing with her right hand. (00:57:40)
Continuity mistake: When George says to Cody that he wouldn't be a good father Cindy is looking at George. When it cuts, Cindy is facing Cody and holding her hand on his shoulder. When it cuts again, Cindy is looking at George again and it's obvious that she doesn't have her hand on Cody's shoulder. (00:58:25)
Revealing mistake: When Cindy gets to Tom's house and Sue is calling for George, you see Sue and George walking away. You can see in the background that they have boarded up the windows. On one wall the window is blocked by planks, and the other wall has been totally covered with planks and there is sunlight coming through cracks in the planks all over. It is obvious there is no wall behind the planks. Where did the wall go? (00:58:35)
Continuity mistake: In Cody's room, when the color drawing is on the bed and when Cindy holds it in front of her, we see it includes the sky, the house/chimney with smoke, the boy, the arrow, etc. In the close-up of the drawing, there are now three large spaceships drawn under the sky, between the house and the boy. Continuity mistake: When Cindy is talking with Cody, telling him about his mother, and the camera is filming Cody's face we can see he is shocked. But from a different angle his face is normal. (00:59:45)
Revealing mistake: When Tom comes down to the basement you see him coming down a narrow stairway. Later when Cindy says "there's something on the other side of the door", you can see a shadow walking back and forth behind the door. That shouldn't be possible unless the thing behind the door can walk through the walls in the narrow stairway. (01:00:10 - 01:01:10)
Continuity mistake: When Tom comes down to the cellar and calls for George, George is standing by a window. In the next shot, George is standing beside Sue and not near the window. (01:00:10)
Continuity mistake: When they are gathered down in the cellar, right before Cindy says "are they gone?". Have a close look in the background. There is a lot of stuff and mess there. Later when Cindy has the flashback from the tape we see the exact same corner as earlier, but now it is cleaned up and the ladder has been placed there. (01:00:10 - 01:06:20)
Continuity mistake: When Tom gets down to the cellar you see George standing by something that is covered by a brown carpet. When it cuts to Tom walking you can see a trash can suddenly appear on the right side of the brown carpet. Not easy to see cause it happens kind of fast, but if you roll it in slow motion you can see it. (01:00:10)
