Continuity mistake: When Patrick bores a hole in Cameron's French book, the spade bit damages the book's dust jacket as well, but when the book is held up the circular hole is perfect, and the hole's position is a bit off from the initial shot.

Continuity mistake: After paintball, when Patrick parks the car in front of Kat's house, the car is by the walkway (between the grass) near the corner, but as they walk onto the porch the car is actually parked about 30-ft behind where it was previously parked.

Visible crew/equipment: Right after Joey says "OK, you're cool by association," when he's done drawing on Michael's face, above Michael's head on the left side you can see someone's arm and short sleeve shirt as if standing by the table. In the next shot when it shows the whole table, no one is near their table.

Continuity mistake: In the scene where the teacher asks Kat why the school can't buy a book "written by a black man." the white Rastas are next to and slightly in front of the teacher as they raise their fists in support, yet as the camera switches to the front view, the teacher is in front of the class and they are at least ten feet away.

Continuity mistake: While Verona is asking out Cat for very first time on the soccer field the sun changes between shots.

Continuity mistake: When the kids burst into the house party there are two shots of them flooding in. In the second shot there are kids already on the stairs partying.

Continuity mistake: When Patrick starts singing and gets that marching band to play, look closely at the field and stairs - the sun is changing from shot to shot.

Continuity mistake: When Patrick is singing to Kat, while the band is playing he can be seen dancing behind a girl in a blue shirt sitting down. The camera cuts to the band and back to Patrick when he starts to sing but this time he's near a group of guys who are in front of a red flag. The camera then cuts to Kat and then back to Patrick who is back with the girl in the blue shirt - this time he's next to her rather than behind her. A few seconds later you can catch a glimpse of the girl and the guys both behind Patrick in their same respective spots which are nowhere near each other (the girl being further down from the guys).

Character mistake: At the party when Michael tells a girl he's thinking of getting a Toyota Tercel, he says it has dual side airbags. The Tercel was never available with side airbags.

Continuity mistake: In the classroom where the students are dissecting frogs, the camera is showing a close up of Cameron and Michael talking and in the background you can see Patrick take out his tool to stab the frog. Then the camera immediately goes to a close up of him and he re-takes out the tool and actually stabs it.

Continuity mistake: In the scene where Patrick is talking to Ms. Perky, the shots alternate between face on views of each character. You will notice that Patrick's satchel strap, and subsequently the position of his shirt and collar, changes position throughout the scene.

Ms. Perky: I've been hearing a lot of complaints about you again. People are saying you're...
Kat: tempestuous?
Ms. Perky: Well, "heinous bitch" is the term used most often.
