Continuity: In one shot, the small Asian figurine that Oliver tricks Barbara with is tied and knotted with string, but in the next quick shot, the string is gone.

Revealing: In the shot where Barbara is cartwheeling down the stairs after Oliver wrestles the ornament from her in the previous shot, the stairs have become totally flat like a ramp.
Continuity: In the shot where the Roses are hanging in the chandelier, Kathleen Turner goes from being barefoot to having some type of shoe on and then back to barefoot.
Continuity: After Oliver extinguishes the tree fire, Barbara moves to walk past him, and the smoke is hovering just below knee level. The next shot changes to a rear view of her, and there is no smoke in the air at all.
Continuity: When Gavin is going through his large bookcase in his library, Oliver sits at a desk which has a children's book near the corner. Immediately after the shot of Gavin saying "aha", the children's book has moved about a foot forward.
Continuity: During the whole chandelier scene, it is blatantly dark outside (nighttime). It cuts to Gavin and Susan carrying the ladder in bright daylight, then back to the inside of the house where it is dark again.
