Revealing mistake: When Ace and Melissa are in bed together having sex if you look close enough you can see that she is wearing underwear.
Continuity mistake: Right before they rob the police car, a Boeing 747 (four engines) is seen in shots of the plane coming into land. When the plane is shown from behind, it is a Boeing 767, with only two engines and fewer main landing gears.
Plot hole: Anderton's wife gains entry into the jailhouse using her husband's eyeball - but he's already locked up inside, so his eye would not still have access to enter as it pleased. Any place anywhere that would have any sort of security system requiring anything from a simple passcode to a card key to a retinal scan, would immediately delete the user in such instances from all rights. And would also certainly report on any attempted use of such (retinal scan, pass code, whatever).
Continuity mistake: When Harry and Cedric are transported to the cemetery, the Triwizard cup lands on the grassy slope, well beyond the Riddle monument, with its luminescent top facing away from the cauldron area. During Priori Incantatem, three shots after Voldemort exclaims, "He's mine!" the cup lies on the corner of the Riddle monument's stone base and it faces the opposite way. The cup is back up on the grassy area in the following shots.
Continuity mistake: During the famous leg un-crossing scene when SS is being interrogated, a cigarette in her hand disappears and then reappears, but who was looking at her hand at the time?
Visible crew/equipment: In the dueling scene, when Snape pulls Malfoy back onto his feet, a cameraman is visible kneeling down on the far left of the screen.
Continuity mistake: When Jason is cutting Marie's hair in the hotel room, his watch is on his left wrist. When he and Marie begin to kiss, in this flipped shot Jason's watch is on his right wrist, his moles have changed sides, and the hand-held showerhead behind them is backwards as well. Next shot his watch is back on his left wrist. The flipped shot has nothing to do with the small bathroom mirror.
Revealing mistake: In the scene when the main character is in the library on the internet, she goes to a couple of websites. When the shot shows the URL up top, it is C:\windows98\mydocuments\etc.html. Instead of actually searching on the web they used a premade html page and accessed it from their computer. It's simple enough to just not display the address bar in your browser, so I don't know why they let this one slip through...
Other mistake: When Leo is laying his dead kids on the grass, the little girl keeps moving her eyes and breathing.
Audio problem: When Sidney comes running to the house and she sees Dewey come out with the knife in his back she screams "Dewey!" but her mouth says "no!"
Continuity mistake: Where Swazye and Moore are at the pottery wheel, seconds after their hands and arms had been smeared with clay, they're clean.
Revealing mistake: When all the kids are in the diner just before Chunk knocks over the water jug, Mikey starts to bang on the ground with a bar. When Brand stops him, Mikey calls him by his real name Josh. This is verified on the DVD by Sean Astin himself, in the commentary.
Revealing mistake: In the shooting scene in the Mount Rushmore cafe, a boy in the background puts his fingers in his ears, because he knows the gun is about to be shot.
Continuity mistake: When Anna, Kristoff and Olaf get thrown by Marshmallow, Anna does not have her hat on when they are sliding, yet her hat is back on in the next shot.
Factual error: After the intruders flood the panic room with propane, Jody Foster's character gets a lighter and ignites the propane causing it to burn along the ceiling. This would be impossible as propane is heavier than air and would sink to the floor rather than rise up to the ceiling. Lighting a flame in that room should have caused anyone in the room and on the floor to be engulfed in flames almost instantly.
Continuity mistake: When they escape from the building in the first dream, the right-hand mirror of the van is broken by the narrow gate. In the following shot when they are driving, the other mirror is broken and the right mirror is suddenly undamaged.
Other mistake: When Somerset goes back to the man's house alone, he cuts a sticker on the door with his switch-blade to get in. The first error is the sticker is on the inside and it says "Keep Out." The best part about it is the door opens inward. How did they put the sticker on the inside and then exit?
Other mistake: When Stan and Kathy call out the Top 10, they only call out 7 names, leaving out Miss Nebraska, Miss Vermont and Miss Alaska, who are also part of the Top 10.
Continuity mistake: Towards the end of the movie, when Joey Nova is trying to get out of town, he sells his football ring to the drug dealer, but in the final scene he is clearly shown wearing the ring when he points the gun at his father.
Continuity mistake: The beginning of the movie was set on Thursday, the day after Jim died, and Bridgette's face was just fine. Later in the movie, on Saturday, Bridgette was at the funeral with cuts and stitches on her face. Then, the movie goes back to Tuesday, the day before Jim died, and they show Bridgette running into the glass door and cutting her face. So if it happened on Tuesday, the first scene of the movie (Thursday) should have shown the cuts on her face.
Visible crew/equipment: When Freddy falls over the banister onto the stairs near the end, notice the crash mat he lands on.
Continuity mistake: Mr. Furlong pushes Zeke into the fishing tank and it breaks, soaking him from head to toe with water. Moments later they are walking out and he is dry.
Deliberate mistake: Leaven spends too much time thinking about if 645 and 372 are prime numbers to be believable. But she knows the factors of 649 and the result of 26 to the power of 3 almost immediately. Plus anyone with any maths knowledge whatsoever would know that any even number (or one divisible by 5) can't be prime, so 645 and 372 could be dismissed without even thinking about it.
Continuity mistake: In the scene when Michael is carrying Annie's body into the house her head is on the left side of his body. After they show Tommy looking out the window they cut back to Michael and suddenly Annie's head is on the right side of his body.
Revealing mistake: After the woman is strangled and the people come in trying to find the little kid, the dead woman is clearly seen blinking.
Continuity mistake: When Harry is kneeling beside Dumbledore's body, at the foot of the Astronomy Tower, Ginny joins Harry and holds him at his left side (viewer's right). In the last close-up of Professor Dumbledore's face, Harry is visible in the background with a space to his left and Ginny is now gone. That same angle was shown before Ginny joined Harry.
Revealing mistake: Right after Nell sends Hugh to hell, Dr. Marrow and Theo come out of hiding behind a pillar. As Marrow puts his hand on the pillar, it squishes in as if it was made of foam rubber, instead of stone.
Continuity mistake: In one of the last scenes, Cate Blanchett's character is standing in the doorway of her son's room. She is wearing a blue striped dress. When she walks into the room, she's wearing a floral dress.
Continuity mistake: When Mulder and Scully start frantically running from the bees inside the dome Scully is clearly seen untying her belt twice.
