Continuity mistake: When Grumpy jumps the chasm to chase Dr. Marshall, there's a large green bulbous plant that moves from the side Grumpy jumped from to the one he lands on. It wasn't there before.

Land of the Lost is a 2009 Sci-fi comedy adventure based on the Sid and Marty Kroftt show of the same name where a lax explorer crosses space-time, discovers reptilian creatures called Sleestacks, monkey-people like friend Chacka, and anomalies like dinosaurs, giant insects and other dangers. Here, the "kids" are now a fellow British scientist and a comical sideshow barker, but the premise of survival and escaping the lost land are still the same. OK for silly humor with some passable SFX.
Dr. Rick Marshall: It boils down to two simple words.
Matt Lauer: Renewable biofuels.
Dr. Rick Marshall: Close. Time warps.
Question: Has it been explained how all those animals (and primates) ended their lives in the tyrannosaurus rex's lair? Did all of them get there by the sand trap(s)? If so, who re-hid them after they had been walked into? Perhaps the lair was used as sacrificial grounds or execution by the primates?
