Factual error: When Sgt. Harper and his men are prepping their gear for the water mission, he gives Pvt. Ocre one of his rifle plates. But the plate he gives him looks like a steel plate that been wrapped in plastic. In reality, the plates issued to Marines and Soldiers were and still are ceramic Small Arms Protective Inserts (SAPI for short). The plate seen in the film looks nothing like the actual ones.
