Continuity mistake: While John and Roy begin rehearsing in front of Marco and Chet, when John lights the flame his watch reads 10:00, but just a few minutes later when John puts the sawdust into the strainer his watch reads 10:30. When Squad 51 is dispatched to "sick child," timeout is 12:13, and after John and Roy get back to the ER the second time after searching the garage for the poison it's 1:05 at the ER. Continuity mistake: After John heads down to the victims of the cave-in, when they send down the drug box with the HT, the trauma case is still beside Roy, but when Johnny asks for the blankets the trauma case is gone. Then Johnny gives Roy the victims vitals, and when Johnny goes to the vent pipe to get the blankets they just sent down, suddenly the trauma case is down below with him, and it's open, but Johnny never retrieved the case before getting the blankets. Additionally, Roy tells Rampart that the victim has a "large discoloration on the chest", even though John never said anything about it to Roy, when he gave the victim's vitals over the HT.
Other mistake: At the scrapyard with the man who was nearly crushed in the car, when Roy takes his BP the stethoscope chestpiece is on the man's arm in the wide shot, but in the closeup the chestpiece hangs in mid-air not actually touching the man's arm, yet Roy continues to read the BP.

Visible crew/equipment: When Sheriff Bittner, John, and Roy are driving to the lake after eating lunch together, the bar for the mounted camera is visible on the driver's door, which is only seen in the interior shots of the car.

It cuts to a shot of Squad 51 following the ambulance to ER receiving, and as they drive through the underpass, it's from the POV of inside the squad. Some location lighting becomes visible on the right side, and the reflection of the cameraman's legs are visible on the windshield, as he's seated in the passenger seat. We know that one of the paramedics is in the ambulance, so there should only be a driver in the squad.
Visible crew/equipment: When all the guys are standing around the kitchen table, while Captain Stanley rips the paper so they can draw lots for using The Boat, the actor's tape mark is visible on the floor by Mike's foot.
Revealing mistake: At the gas station with the broken pump nozzle, Captain Stanley and the station attendant head to the garage area to see the main shut-off circuit box, which is located at the far right corner of the garage, but in the next shot, we can see the attendant's reflection behind Roy, and he's standing somewhere else off camera, not where he's supposed to be in the next shot with Captain Stanley.
