Across whole show

In front shots of the house you see that the garage is in the front and opens to the street, but in inside shots the garage is in the back and also opens to the backside. [From the front you see the main garage door. This opens on to the street. In the garage, you can see the main door leads out on the street. There is also a side door to the garage, which opens on the back yard. Not a mistake.]

Season 7 episode "Gym Neighbours". At the bit before the theme song, Arthur annoys Doug by reading the subtitles and listening to the sound at the same time. At the end of the sentence it says "peeeeeerfect", Arthur reads it exactly the same way. It is unlikely for subtitles to have been written in such way. [Actually, I watch movies with subtitles on and they often have spellings like that.]

In the episode "No Orleans," Doug gets a snow-cone machine. After the beginning credits, Doug is seen preparing a blue snow-cone. Arthur then asks for his presence in the living room for something. Just before Doug leaves the kitchen, the snow-cone is full up and brimming over, and suddenly half a second later, when he enters the living room, it is nearly empty, and when Doug then returns to the kitchen, not having touched the snow-cone in this time slot, he finishes the tiny bit that is left. This is obviously impossible. [This has already been submitted.]

Where's Poppa? (series 1)

At the pizza shop, it shows Arthur inspecting the dollars to see if they are real. He holds a $1 up to the light to see if it's real. One dollar bills don't have the face printed on like other bills. [Arthur is known for being suspicious of things, so it's no surprise that he would try to check if a $1 is real, which you can't. It's not a mistake, just to show how suspicious he really is.]

Head First (series 1)

During the poker game, Arthur teases Spence because he's a virgin, which is mentioned later when Doug tells Cariie, "He teased him about the virgin thing." But in one of the later episodes, it is mentioned that Spence had an affair and had sex with his school librarian when he was very young and had long hair. [Spence did have sex with the librarian, but the episode with the teasing at the poker game, Arthur and the guys don't know about the librarian yet. Therefore, to their knowledge, Spence is a virgin, and for some reason, he decides not to defend himself with the librarian story.]

Block Buster (series 2)

When Carrie fixes this super-huge sandwich for Doug's football buddies, she tells him to stay away from one end, because she used bad meat there. However, the episode ends with Carrie and Doug eating the sandwich from either end. [They could easily have taken the bad meat out.]

Strike One (series 3)

In this episode, when Carrie asks Doug about ripping out the shower tile without replacing it, Doug says he was "trying to save some money around here." It doesn't make sense that he would he decide to renovate the shower tile at all while on strike and trying to save money – he would still have to purchase a lot of materials even if he did it himself. We also know from earlier in the episode that Doug is not very handy when he breaks the cupboard handle while trying to just tighten it. [Doug is a bit of a moron, probably didn't think it through before he started tearing stuff down. Then it was too late, and it HAD to be fixed.]

Shrink Wrap (series 4)

When Carrie and the psychiatrist are at the birthday party in her flashback, she says that the cake he is eating is "like forty-two years old". If this flashback took place forty-two years ago and the young Carrie at the party appears to be around eight or nine, then adult Carrie would have to be at least fifty years old. [She's exaggerating, she just means that the cake is very old.]

Golden Moldy (series 5)

In this episode, Carrie is yelling at Doug about their money troubles when he opens a beer and she says, "Oh great, you are having a very expensive foreign beer". Doug is drinking a Heineken, which is a moderately priced, very common beer. [As we all know, both Doug and Carrie are overly dramatic, and I am sure she was saying this sarcastically just to prove a point and knew that it was not an expensive beer.]

Affidavit Justice (series 6)

In this episode, Arthur asks Deacon to come down to the basement and he says to Carrie, "Anyway he can come up here, I've never been down there". But in the Pilot episode, Deacon and the guys are watching TV in the basement on Doug's new big screen TV. [Deacon doesn't want to go in the basement now that it is Arthur's room and no longer Doug's entertainment space, the way it was in the pilot episode. He is referring to the fact that he hasn't been down to Arthur's living quarters and is uncomfortable about going.]
