The King of Queens

King Pong - S6-E3

Revealing mistake: In the final scene, Carrie starts to kiss Doug and pushes him onto the bed. The camera angle switches from what would be outside the window to beside the bed. The scene was done in one take from 3 camera angles. As the camera pans left you can see the center window is completely open because they had just pulled the camera out of it and didn't get it closed yet, and you can watch the window be closed by an invisible hand from underneath. Pilot - S1-E1

Revealing mistake: When the guys are watching the game in Doug's bedroom, we see a shot of the TV. If you look closely you can see in the reflection that no-one is on the bed. (00:13:00)

Jung Frankenstein - S5-E12

Revealing mistake: In the final scene of the episode, Arthur is searching for used bottles of nasal spray. He empties the contents of the trash can on the kitchen floor and finds one after sifting through the trash. However, the bottle had already been positioned on the floor next to the trash can before he picked up the trash can so it would be easy to find when the trash was emptied on the floor.

Tricker Treat - S4-E6

Revealing mistake: When Doug and Deacon are driving round trying to find Gabe's Pizzeria, they get into the car and pull out into the road. However if you look at the traffic, they would have hit at least 2 cars in doing so. But they don't, showing it's a projection. (00:14:40)

Queasy Rider - S2-E1

Revealing mistake: When Doug comes into the garage the first time, if you look through the garage door, at the end of the fence is a very noticeable crease running vertically. This shows the outside is a fake. (00:06:55)

Dog Days - S1-E14

Revealing mistake: Even after receiving the gift basket from the neighbors, the Heffernans are still awakened by their barking dog. When Carrie rushes downstairs Doug stops her at the front door, and the entire left window has been removed (for camera access) from its frame, so there's a large empty hole. (00:13:10)

Super Grover

Sight Gag - S4-E2

Revealing mistake: When Doug and Carrie are waiting in line at the DMV, a man (casting extra) can be seen just outside the doorway waiting to enter the scene. When the shot changes and Doug and Carrie approach the counter, the man casually enters the set. (00:03:30 - 00:04:00)

The Minister

Art House - S1-E24

Revealing mistake: Carrie comes into the kitchen, visibly hot and sweaty, and says, "Could it be any hotter?" Doug also has a sweat stain on his back and they stick their heads in the freezer. Suddenly Arthur walks in and says, "Do I have the word pushover on my forehead?" Arthur is wearing a thick shirt tucked into long pants and yet is not sweaty. At his age he would be more visibly drained from the heat than both Carrie and Doug. This happens again later in the episode in the garage.

Suggested correction: And yet in summer, some retirement homes have heating on still as they feel the slightest bit of cold. That could simply be the case here.

Question: Has Carrie's sister, Sara, ever been mentioned again after the first few episodes, and why was she taken off?

Answer: Sara hasn't been mentioned in later episodes, and it suggested in later episodes that she never existed, and that Carrie is an only child. Kevin James stated that the producers couldn't think of an good plots to use with Sara, so they left her out.
