Correction: This is a mistake on the DVD cover, and is not a movie mistake.

I Never Met the Dead Man - S1-E2

Corrected entry: When he is driving Meg home from her driver's test, Peter has a watch on. He complains that he will miss the beginning of the new TV show "Fast Animals, Slow Children." He stated earlier that the show started at 8:00. His watch says it is 10:00.

Correction: It is later shown that Quahog is dependent upon a cable and satellite network for its television. Many channels on these networks have 'shadow' channels that broadcast the same material one or two hours later, and some the next day. Hence, the 8.00 am and 10.00 am startup slot for this show.

To Live and Die in Dixie - S3-E12

Corrected entry: A mistake in the subtitles: As Stewie yells, 'I've got blisters on me fingers.' after singing 'My big old fat ass baby', the subtitles read: "Imitates John Lennon." It is widely argued, but McCartney and Starr claim that it was Starr who said that, after a particularly vigorous rehearsal for Beatles song, 'Helter Skelter'.

Correction: You've missed the point of Stewie's actions - he is imitating John Lennon (whose voice is completely different to Ringo's) regardless of who said the line in real life.

Correction: The rules of this site are quite clear - if you have to use slow motion or freeze frame to spot a minor mistake, it is invalid, unless the mistake is major.

Brian Does Hollywood (2) - S3-E2

Corrected entry: In the action scene at the beginning, Stewie is shooting a helicopter and it blows up, making Stewie fall through a glass-top building. We see him fall through from the inside of the building, but the helicopter is nowhere in sight.

Correction: Fairly obvious that this scene is happening in Stewie's imagination. The rules don't apply.

Show generally

Corrected entry: In the new season, in the episode where Lois goes to jail for shoplifting, the family is visiting Lois in jail where she is wearing orange prison garb. In the next scene where Peter is helping Lois escape, he puts Lois' head in his mouth with her body hanging outside it. She is now wearing her normal uniform of green top and beige pants. Yes, its a cartoon, but she should still be wearing the orange.

citysister

Correction: It is possible she put her normal clothes on under the jumpsuit. A prisoner in Houston escaped by having regular clothes under his jumpsuit and taking it off before he walked out.

E. Peterbus Unum - S2-E18

Corrected entry: In the scene where Peter and the delegates of the UN are in the meeting room, when everyone laughs at Peter, you can see that some of the country names on the labels are spelled wrong. For example, there is "Danmark", "Maxico", and "Morrocco". Also, it looks like three of the seats are not filled. Why would there not be any UN delegates at the meeting?

Correction: The misspelling is certainly intentional.

randomguy

Why would it be?

I believe it is to show that the representatives are supposed to be other people that have seceded from their countries and formed their own states. Danmerk would be Dan, Maxico would be Max and I think Morrocco would be Morris (Not sure on this one), much like Peter's is Petoria.

Love Thy Trophy - S2-E5

Corrected entry: Peter invites all the neighbors to his house, supposedly for tea. During the meeting, Peter excuses himself to ransack the other homes for the trophy. After the meeting, Peter, Lois and Chris are shown walking back to their own house, which was also ransacked.

Correction: There is nothing to indicate that this scene took place immediately after Peter ransacked all the other houses. All we see is that they are walking back into their house and the fact that someone ransacked their house (which couldn't have been Peter), would mean that one of the neighbours had the same idea as Peter and waited until they left to look through their house.

Let's Go to the Hop - S2-E14

Corrected entry: In Chris's room, Peter and Louis accusing Chris of possessing a toad, when Chris says, "What about Meg. It could be hers." you can hear someone go, "Ha ha." on the sound track. It's no one in the family, as you can see none of their lips move.

Correction: Nobody says, "Ha ha." If you turn on the subtitles on the DVD, you can see it's Lois saying, "Oh now, dont."

Death Has a Shadow - S1-E1

Corrected entry: In the long shot of the mail lady walking to the Griffin house, she passes by the garage door. In the close up shot, she passes by it again.

Correction: She doesn't pass it twice, in the long view shot she makes it to the center of the little patch of grass then when you get up close, you can actually see a vertical line down the center of the patch and thats where she starts walking again.

Wasted Talent - S2-E20

Corrected entry: When Peter gets kicked out of the beer factory, he comes home drunk to find Meg chained to a huge weight so she can't get away from the piano which Lois is forcing her to play. When Peter sits down and starts playing, Lois realizes how good he is and she tells Meg she's off the hook and to go try the Clarinet. Yet Meg gets up and runs away. What happens to the chain and the weight? If Meg could run this fast when she was tied up, why didn't she just try before?

Correction: Just after Lois says "You're like the idiot from Shine", she says "Meg you're free" and Meg lifts up her leg, and Lois takes off the shackle. It's made very clear on the screen.

Wasted Talent - S2-E20

Corrected entry: When you see the Pawtucket Patriot, the shadows change several times (Just like in the original Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory).

Correction: The animators didn't include shadows in this scene, let alone their perspectives.

randomguy

Correction: This is supposed to be part of the joke, how a huge motorcycle just appears out of nowhere. It's to give it sort of a romantic edge.

Correction: In cartoons, when the character is in awe of something their eyes always tend to be drawn larger in a look of shock. That is not a mistake.

Correction: We can assume that since Nate is Peter's relative, that they are both complete idiots and he would not know the difference, which is why it is written this way deliberately. Besides, this is a character's mistake, not the show's mistake.

Mind over Murder - S1-E4

Corrected entry: When Peter builds the bar downstairs, and Lois sings for the first time the wall that lines the stairs is solid. When she has a stage and curtain backdrop, suddenly there is a door where Stewie is in the jolly jumper.

Correction: This door could have been added when the stage was built. There is no time frame given from the building of the bar to this point.

From Method to Madness - S3-E18

Corrected entry: When Stewie is trying to play the french horn, the music score written on the wall behind him makes no sense. One line is two and a half beats long, and the next line is four beats. There are no measure lines anywhere.

Correction: This is a school for young children, it is quite possible one of them drew that music score, not knowing too much about what to do. In fact, it could have been Stewie, who's just a baby.

Death Lives - S3-E6

Corrected entry: When Death and Peter get into a fight outside the pet store, Death controls his severed arm to poke Peter in the eyes. However, Peter is wearing glasses. His eyes could not have possibly been poked unless his glasses, for some reason, did not have lenses in them.

Correction: In another episode Stewie breaks Meg's glasses and Peter tells her that "Nobdy needs glasses". Meg says "But YOU wear glasses" and Peter replies "That's just to fool the man from the draft board..." So maybe his glasses DON'T have lenses in - it's something so stupid and pointless that it fits Peter's character perfectly.

Death Is a Bitch - S2-E6

Corrected entry: In the bar shoot-out, the participants are covered with bullets. Once the rules of death are reinstated, every person with a bullet in a fatal spot should be dead.

Correction: In theory that would be the case, but in the show Death has to actually come and "kill" the person. In this episode its shown that Death himself has to touch the person or take them away before they are actually dead. If he wanted to he could go back to the bar and collect all the people that shot themselves but he wouldn't have much reason to.

Lummie

Correction: When Joe puts the burger in his hand he flips it up to his right. In normal speed you can see he flips it over his shoulder, but because of the very fast transition to Peter it makes it look that the burger has disappeared into thin air.

Baby Not On Board - S7-E4

Plot hole: Stewie gets out of the car seat and goes back to bed, leaving the blanket at the bottom of the seat. When they get to New York, Lois goes to get him out and realises he's gone. But when they started the trip the blanket was covering the entire seat to make it look like Stewie was still in it. So who ever "covered" him up knew he wasn't in the seat before they set off. Barely Legal - S5-E8

Connie: You know, Meg, there's no dogs allowed. So, you're going to have to leave. But Brian can stay.
Brian Griffin: You know, Connie, I think I have this theory about why you're such a bitch.
Connie: Excuse me?
Meg Griffin: Brian, let's just go.
Brian Griffin: No, no, no, no, no, no. Hang on a minute, Meg, hang on. You see, Connie, you're popular because you developed early and started giving handjobs when you were twelve. But now you can't stand to look in the mirror because all you see is a whore. So you pick on Meg to avoid the inevitable realization that once your body's used up by age nineteen, you're gonna be a worn out chalky skinned burlap sack that even your own stepdad won't want. How is that? Am I in the ballpark?
[Connie runs off crying].

He's Too Sexy for His Fat - S2-E17

Trivia: In the shot of the Quahog Pest Control building you see a blue termite (Nibbles Woodaway) on the building. New England Pest Control in Providence, Rhode Island has the same bug on top of its building.

Answer: Mort is Jewish, and Walt Disney was said to be antisemitic. So it would make sense in a Disney universe all the inhabitants would share his supposed beliefs.
