To Thine Old Self Be True - S7-E20

Continuity mistake: Niles comes into Cafe Nervosa holding a newspaper and begins to talk to Frasier and Roz. As he says "mere words cannot", the shot changes and the next shot shows the newspaper has flipped over to the other side in his hand. He didn't have time to do this naturally.

Three Faces of Frasier - S7-E21

Continuity mistake: During the opening credits, Frasier, Martin, and Daphne are sitting at the table talking about getting older. At one point Martin says "when people reach our stage in life" and his left hand is holding his coffee cup. But as the camera cuts to Frasier we can see Martin's hand in the left corner of the screen, up in the air, without the cup. The next shot shows it back on the table, holding the cup again. All this happens too quickly for the changes in real time.

Three Faces of Frasier - S7-E21

Visible crew/equipment: Towards the end of the show, Marty and Frasier are sitting in the living room talking. Eddie is curled up right next to Frasier on the couch. There are a number of shots focused on Frasier and Eddie and on the bottom of the screen one can see something flick by a couple of times - and in one shot there is definitely a couple of inches of a grey metal pole of some sort, about the thickness of a broom handle.

Dark Side of the Moon - S7-E22

Continuity mistake: Roz is at Daphne's shower, saying "God, he sounds just like a prince," in reference to Simon - in her left hand is a drink and her right hand is positioned down, as though it is in her pocket. In the next shot she is still holding her drink in her left hand, but is giving Daphne a drink with her right hand - it just appears out of nowhere.

Dark Side of the Moon - S7-E22

Continuity mistake: Near the start of the episode when Frasier comes home, Daphne quickly clears all the beer cans and mess on the lounge table. After she asks Frasier how he is and he replies, "Where's Simon?". The next time we see the table the cans and all the mess on the table have reappeared.

Dark Side of the Moon - S7-E22

Continuity mistake: While Frasier is talking to Daphne about wooing Holly, the wine bottle on the coffee table changes position more than once - from sitting on a book on the left of the tray to being on the bare table on the right and then back again to the left of the tray, but not on the book. Nobody touches it during this time.

Dark Side of the Moon - S7-E22

Continuity mistake: When Roz comes over to meet Simon for their date, she is standing at the door talking and one strap from her shoulder bag is hanging down from the shoulder. The shot from behind her shows both straps are on her shoulder, and then the shot goes back to the front - it's down again. At no time did she adjust it.

Dark Side of the Moon - S7-E22

Continuity mistake: Simon has shown up at Daphne's shower and is standing at the bar/table with Roz and Holly. There is a bottle of champagne on the table, next to an ice bucket - but when Daphne drags Simon away the shot shows that the bottle has mysteriously made its way into the ice bucket.

Dark Side of the Moon - S7-E22

Continuity mistake: When Daphne goes to Niles's place to see him, she sits down on the couch and slides her purse behind her. A couple of shots later Niles gets up and now we can see her purse on the couch to her left. At no time did she make any movements that could explain its change of position.

Frasier: And though washing one's hands twenty to thirty times a day would be considered obsessive/compulsive, please bear in mind that your husband is a coroner. Thank you for your call, Jeanine. Roz, whom do we have next?

Caught in the Act - S11-E15

Trivia: When Nanette tells Frasier she's tired of playing her children's show character, she asks him if he knows what it's like to play the same character for twenty years. By this point, Kelsey Grammer had been playing Frasier for twenty years: eleven on 'Frasier' and nine on 'Cheers'.

Show generally

Question: There's probably an obvious answer to this but is there any actual in-show significance to the 'Tossed Salads and Scrambled Eggs' song heard at the end of every episode? I ask mainly because I remembered there was one show in particular where Frasier unintentionally scars Lilith emotionally and pretty much cements the end of their relationship over a misunderstanding about scrambled eggs. Were there any similar conflicts over a tossed salad?

Answer: In the last episode, they explained that Tossed Salad and Scrambled Eggs is a metaphor for the mixed-up people to whom Frasier dispenses his radio psychiatric advice.
