Corrected entry: The missiles Qaurritch and his men use in the final battle are completely useless. If they have to fire in line of sight, why are the missiles constantly curving and flying all over the place? Line of sight works, but only if the missiles fly in a straight line, otherwise, hitting your target is dumb luck.

Friso94

Correction: The missiles are flying around the place because of the magnetic properties pf the mountains. Notice the missiles were moving around fine when they took down home tree. Line of sight is just the best chance they have of hitting anything.

XIII

Corrected entry: In the truck, after Marion tells Indy he is Mutt's father Indy asks why she never told him. She gives her reasons and then says it was why Ox had stopped talking to him (Indy) - but later in the film, after the alien spaceship has left, Indy and Mutt are talking like father and son on the top of the ruined temple and Ox appears amazed when he realises they are father and son.

Noods

Correction: Or he could be amazed that they "know" that they are father and son. He (Ox) has just come out of a semi-comatose state. Besides: presuming a person's state of mind isn't a mistake. It has to be conclusive what Ox is thinking (like verbal confirmation) to be a mistake.

Corrected entry: As Nantz takes cover behind a car at the gas station, a billboard for Resistance 3 is seen in the background, showing a release date of "Holiday 2010." However, the story of Battle LA takes place in mid-August 2011. Also, Resistance 3 is slated to release in early September 2011.

solarpilot

Correction: The film was shot in late 2009 with the game release date 'tentatively' shown for the following year. Yes the film is set in 2011 however old game/movie posters can still exist on billboards. There is a billboard down the road from me that has a (depleted) movie poster for the movie Armageddon which was released in 1997. I can list numerous games that were not released on the initial release date.

Corrected entry: When John first tries his newly acquired powers out, he is on a cliff and looks down to the rock he's going to back-flip onto. However, in the overhead shot while he is in the air the rock is not visible in the water until he lands on it.

jerimiah

Correction: His body obscures it when he jumps. It's also hard to see it because the water (and the rock) is in the shade BUT it is there.

XIII

Corrected entry: When the police read Byron Hadley his Miranda rights, they are reading a very specific edited version. This version did not surface until 1968, Hadley was arrested in 1966, the year the Miranda case was taken to court. It is implausible that any such Miranda reading would have been widely circulated at the time of the arrest.

Correction: So basically what you are saying is no-one in the history of the world would have thought of those words before the Miranda case? This case was made famous because Ernesto Arturo Miranda wasn't read his rights before his arrest. So surely some form of those words existed before if his 'rights were not read to him'. And as you have pointed out, they read a different (edited) form of the Miranda rights we know today.

NCIS: Los Angeles (2009)

Show generally

Corrected entry: In the 1st episode of season 1, they go to rescue a kidnapped girl who they believe is being held by the Manny Cartel. When they show up, G asks "what it would take to storm the place" and Sam answers "a week's planning and a small army." So after attempting to go in undercover, it turns out their identities are known and they have to fight it out. G takes out the head guy while Sam takes down two body guards. That was it, they get the girl and leave. What happened to a secure compound which required an army to take down? I expected some more guys to rush them after the initial shots were fired. (00:32:45 - 00:37:20)

akaibushi

Correction: Not a plot hole, just a mistake in estimation. So Sam clearly gave the enemy more credit than they deserved. Some people might call it hyperbole (a gross exaggeration meant for effect and not meant to be taken literally).

X-Men 3 (2006)

Correction: You mean Mystique can't change her hair color when she is in human (prequel) form? In the X-Men: First Class prequel she struggled with people accepting her "looks" so when making herself look "normal" she clearly makes her hair blonde too.

XIII

Corrected entry: In the scene where John and Lara and their son are at the airport and seem to be headed for some destination (ergo leaving the United States), they are going through what seems to be U.S. immigration. Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't U.S. immigration come into the picture when you are entering the country? The people that would be looking at passports upon exit are airline people.

Correction: Have you ever traveled anywhere overseas? Passports are checked on the way out and on the way in for every country. Well the ones I have been to and I have been to well over a dozen. Most of these even made me fill out an exit card. Immigration would be responsible for that.

XIII

Corrected entry: When underneath the meat locker, Leo tries to touch Frenzy's head, which Simmons took form the Hoover Dam. Simmons stops him by saying that it is still radio active. In the first film, he takes a reading of Sam after two days after buying Bumblebee, and it shows fourteen rads. After two years, Sam would be long dead if he kept using Bumblebee as a car, or even keep it near him in the garage. Simmons' Geiger counter also gives out a reading when Optimus first meets Simmons, so it's not just Frenzy who is radioactive.

Friso94

Correction: I'm confused. What is the mistake? We know all Transformers emit some form of radiation. It was pointed out in the first movie. We also know it can be transferred to anything nearby, biological and non-biological. If it is deadly then they all would have worn bio-suits to Sam's house. I guess it is not harmful to humans.

Forrest Gump (1994)

Correction: If you were to ask any random person to correctly identify the insignia on a person, a vast majority would get it wrong. This person probably had no idea about his ranking. Character mistake at best.

XIII

Corrected entry: Near the end of the film when the soldiers are using the laser targeting device, they often show the back to the prop to reveal all the audio inputs on the back of it, showing that it is just a video projector painted black.

Correction: It has a scope and a numerical keypad entry pad at the back as well. I've never seen a projector that has these. AND it wasn't black, it was camouflage green.

Point Break (1991)

Corrected entry: In the final scene after Patrick Swayze perishes in the surf, there is a shot of Keanu Reeves walking away with blue sky in the background even though it was pouring rain just a moment ago.

Correction: This is possible. Ever heard of a sun-shower?

Royals & Loyals - S8-E4

Corrected entry: The uniform worn by the gentleman claiming to be a Royal Marine (later revealed as an MI6 agent), has two mistakes. His "Sam Browne", the leather straps worn over his number 2 dress, (Khaki uniform), should be brown, not black. Also, on his shoulder where his designation of rank is. Here it is made of cloth, it should be a metal crown. Strange the "British Navy" crew did not notice this.

BeauNidle

Correction: Wouldn't this be a plot point then? Someone pretending to be a Royal Marine and got it wrong. Errors made by characters are exactly that, Character Mistakes.

XIII

Corrected entry: The man and his son are watching TV. The man covers his son's face so he will not see the dead bodies. There is a whole city full of dead bodies outside.

Correction: I can't see why this would be a mistake. I try to protect my son from seeing certain disturbing things but I know I can't protect him from seeing it every time.

XIII

Corrected entry: In the scene where they laser target the alien ship, why didn't didn't they just use a HARM (High Speed Anti Radiation) missile to start with? Who packed the ground laser targeting device?

Correction: Why a person did or did not do is such an open ended question and cannot be listed as a mistake. Here's another one. Why didn't they just drop a nuke on all sites? They were pretty much losing every city. Why not nuke it? Its not like the aliens have force fields like in say, Independence Day (ID4).

Avatar (2009)

Corrected entry: When Jake is transformed at the end, he has no mask, so he couldn't have been breathing for the transformation.

Correction: Neytiri removes his mask when the "transformation" is complete. Clearly seen.

Wanted (2008)

Corrected entry: When Wesley checks his bank account balance after his father's money has been transferred to it, the ATM screen shows the balance of $3,647,035.59, and then Wesley withdraws a hefty pile of $20 notes (looks like at least $200). But when he is checking his balance again from his office computer afterwards, the screen shows exactly the same amount as before the withdrawal: $3,647,035.59. (00:26:20)

Correction: Some ATMs won't process withdrawal information immediately. The balance could well not be updated until the following day.

XIII

Corrected entry: As the pilot of the SWAT helicopter opens the door and jumps out, he looks as though he is preparing for a stunt jump - possible for a mat which was below. If I was in that situation, I would not care so much as preparing myself for such an event, as to be flapping my arms in terror.

Chad_Bronson

Correction: That would be your opinion/point of view. Me personally, I would prepare myself landing on the ground. Just like the pilot.

XIII

Corrected entry: When T-1000 crashes the truck into the wall as he veers up a slope, if you watch it carefully it is blatantly obvious that there is noone inside the truck itself.Furthermore, if all it took was an explosion to cripple him (seen towards the end of the film), why did this particular one not cripple him?

Chad_Bronson

Correction: An explosion within his body is completely different to an explosion externally. i.e. Firecracker on an open hand versus an firecracker in a closed fist. As for the empty truck, another entry has already been submitted.

XIII

Corrected entry: At the end of the first movie, Bumblebee speaks. He says "Requesting permission to stay with the boy." However in the sequel, he's back to talking by using his radio.

Ivan-sama

Correction: And is referenced in the movie. Sam believes he's "faking it" when Mikayla asks if "he's still having voice problems". Two years has passed. His voice may have fixed temporarily or maybe Sam is right, he's just faking it.
