Corrected entry: At the end of the movie, at Ben's mansion, look closely at his brown sweater: you can see his microphone in the middle of his chest.

Joe Campbell

Correction: You can see a bump in his sweater, so it could be anything under his sweater. At no time can you see a mike and wires to prove it is a "microphone".

Corrected entry: In the scene where Bruce Willis kills the two bad guys in the truck in the aqueduct, he is walking towards the truck from behind left. When he shoots, he is still behind left of the truck. Then the camera changes and you see the blood spraying out of the bad guys torso. How could Bruce Willis be able to hit the torso of those guys if he was left behind the truck? It would have been okay if he had shot them from the front. That he was able to hit the guy sitting on the right side is really amazing.

Correction: We don't actually see McClane when he is shooting the "bad guys". He could have been standing perpendicular to the door, OR simply holding his gun with his arms extended out in front of him. So when he shoots throught the door he hits both of them. He then would have had to take a couple steps back to open the door.

Sahara (2005)

Corrected entry: At the beginning of the movie as the Confederate ironclad, Texas, begins to leave the dock, it's flying the Stars and Stripes; -seen behind the captain's head as he's giving orders.

Correction: In the book, it is explained that they flew that flag to "trick" the Union soldiers in thinking the ironclad ship was a Union ship. It was meant to be a diversion tactic, because the Confederate ironclad ship closely resembled a ship in the Union fleet. In the book, all the confederate soldiers on the ship also wore Union uniforms too. Obviously, in the movie this point was not clearly explained.

Corrected entry: During the fight with the Crazy 88, there is one shot where the Bride stabs one guy, then uses him as a shield. When she first stabs him, there is no blood at his teeth. Then in the next shot, his mouth has filled up with blood. Blood doesn't travel that quickly.

Correction: Actually it does. The human heart pumps blood throughout your body at an average rate of 70 beats per minute when you are at rest. In one day, your blood travels nearly 12,000 miles (thats 22cm per second). With all the action going, on his heart would be pumping at more than 120 beats per minute which obviously makes his heart pump blood faster. This fact easily accounts for how the blood reached his mouth so "quickly".

Robocop (1987)

Corrected entry: How exactly was ED-209 supposed to stop crime anyway or deal with criminals? ED-209 had no arms, no handcuffs, just two large machine guns with a rocket launcher. Unless OCP planned to simply kill all criminals (violent and non-violent) ED-209 would be completely ludicrous.

Correction: Thats the whole point. Criminals would have been scared out of their minds if they came across a huge robot with these "large machine guns". The Ed-209 would have had the authority to shoot you on the spot. I think that would be enough to stop people from committing crime near one of these ED-209's.

White Rabbit - S1-E5

Corrected entry: In Jack's flashback when he finds his father's wallet he pulls out two Australian $50 notes, the note behind the one shown is actually a piece of yellow paper. (The writing small characters on the edges are missing).

Correction: That's probably becuase the other note isn't a $50 note at all. You don't see enough of the second "note" on screen. It might supposed to be a yellow piece of paper that Jack's dad had in his wallet.

2 Fast 2 Furious (2003)

Corrected entry: Dom's RX-7 that he uses in Fast and the Furious appears with it's new Latino Owner in 2 Fast 2 Furious. Compare the side graphics of both cars. It's the same.

Correction: Rx-7's are not exactly rare cars. There are hundreds if not thousands of them. It's no surprise that there are two cars of the same make in separate movies.

Correction: The Predators return to site in the Antartic every 100 years to train the younger Predators, not to hunt. The mature Predators are the ones that hunt and are the ones you see in Predator 1 and 2.

Vertical Limit (2000)

Corrected entry: Seeing as the first nitro explosion caused so much destruction, how come the second bang to clear the ice cave doesn't cause an avalanche too?

Correction: They only used a little bit of nitro the second time. The first explosion occured because the little bit of nitro that was exposed to the sunlight caused a chain reaction and the whole canister to explode.

Die Hard (1988)

Corrected entry: After Hans has initially introduced himself to the frightened Nakatomi employees, he proceeds to use his well-researched facts to identify Mr. Takagi in person. Surely with this much research, he could have also obtained a recent photograph of the chairman of the Nakatomi Corporation to save time.

Correction: He (or they) knew who Takagi was. Thats why Karl was conveniently standing right next to him when he revealed himself, to take him away. The point of the whole scene was to prove that they are not just simple hostage takers and that they are well organised and prepared.

24 (2001)

Correction: He might be keeping the ring on even though his wife may be dead or have left him, or he didn't want to burden Jack with any kind of guilt.

XIII

Corrected entry: Indy's pilot (Jacques) has a distinct Australian accent when he states "That's just mah pet snoek Reggie". In his next sentence, he's become completely 'Americanized'. The accent has vanished.

Nicki

Correction: The pilot could have just been immitating an Australian accent at first.

XIII

Corrected entry: Evan is in his prison cell trying to convince Carlos to help him. He goes back in time to when he got in trouble for the picture, to smash his hands on the teachers note holders giving him the stigmata marks needed to convince Carlos. Before, when Evan 'does' get in trouble for the picture when he was 'actually' younger, stabbing his hands never happened. Evan only blacks out when he is young because he goes back in time at that moment in the future when he is older; at no point did Evan go back in time just to draw a picture.

Correction: Incorrect. Evan can go back to any time he chooses to. He just needs to remember a "key event" in his past to go back there. He mainly goes back to times he "blacks out" because he can easily remember those "key events". Getting into trouble for the drawing is one of those "key events" he can recall the memory of easily.

XIII

Corrected entry: When the Predator cuts off the Alien's head and gives it to Lex to use as a shield, why isn't there any acid in the head? There should be at least a little left.

Ingabritzen

Correction: Actually, the Predator only gives her the skull. The rest of the "internal" parts of the head was removed. This is more clearly shown (explained) in one of the deleted scenes. Besides, without fully knowing the biology of the Aliens, it is safe to assume that there isn't much acid blood in its skull. Clearly shown when one of the other Aliens has its head sliced in half, there wasn't any acidic reaction.

XIII

Corrected entry: At the end of the movie when the bad guy is looking through the visor of the sniper rifle, his eyes get enlarged in the front view of the visor. They should have been smaller, since the visor only enlarges things on his side.

RoyT

Correction: The rifle scope is made up of a series of convex lenses. This is a simple scientific fact, a convex lens "enlarges" things from either side of the lens.

I, Robot (2004)

Corrected entry: When Spooner wakes up he turns on his CD player and begins playing a song. He is in his living room one second then in his shower the next. The song is still playing and hasn't changed. There is no way that Spooner could have gone from his living room to his shower in a split second.

luchador

Correction: He could have the same song on "repeat" mode. So while he is in the shower the same song can still be playing, because it's been repeated "X" amount of times.

XIII

Corrected entry: In the scene where Indy and Willie are waiting in their rooms for each other, Indy is attacked by a Thugee. During the fight, you can see Short Round sleeping in the background. If you watch him, you can see him getting up for a second before the camera changes to Willie screaming disappointed because Indy didn't visit her. However, when we see the fight again, Short Round is shown asleep, he moves his hat to see the fight, ignores it at first but then gets up becoming aware of the situation. That means, Short Round wakes up twice.

Correction: As this submission suggests, Shorty ignores everything at first. Wouldn't this suggest the very first time he "woke up", he ignored it too and went back to sleep. Then when he "woke up" the second time, he became more and more aware of the situation.

XIII

Corrected entry: When you see all of the people leaving New York because of the blizzard there is one shot where the people are coming out of the library and close up to the screen you can see a traffic light dangling down which is obviously made from light vacuum-formed material as you can see it swinging so easily. (01:08:20)

Correction: The whole city (or most of it) was wiped out by a huge wall of water. It is most likely it had been loosened to a point where is just hanging on by a single bolt (or two).

XIII

Corrected entry: In the scene near the beginning when Alice takes the shotgun from the car, she reloads it. It had not been used and there would have been no need to reload it; the only reason is for it to look more dramatic.

Correction: There was no cartrige in the chamber (i.e the shotgun wasn't loaded). It would be quite unwise for a police car to have a loaded shotgun in the front. The shotgun could easily go off accidently causing serious harm to the front seat occupants. The shotgun cartridges are stored in the magazine or cartridge tube and the shotgun needs to be "reloaded" in order to fire.

Spider-Man 2 (2004)

Corrected entry: At the beginning of the film, when Peter Parker is late delivering the Pizzas, but right before he changes into Spider-Man, he gets caught at a light changing from green to red, and right after this change a city bus goes speeding by. If the light just changed, how could the bus be going that fast when the light just changed?

Peter Vanicelli

Correction: The approach to the intersection most likely was clear (for the bus driver) at the time the lights changed. Many bus drivers have the exact same route everyday, it quite possible the driver knew the signal sequence well. He may have timed his driving just right so he would not have to stop at the lights. (i.e he just cruises towards the intersection and waited for the right time to accelerate).
